If wizards prints something that's like U :counter target sorcery spell then it will probably drop. I can see it staying around 40-50 for the remaining standard life. When it rotates, I can see it dropping to 10ish possibly 20 due to Price Memory and Modern play.
One thing to note: if you are a girl and want to be on the internet, no need to get naked: just play magic at a GP / pro tour where there's a walking the plane episode getting filmed
I noticed that they seem to find almost every girl in the room too.
Urbanlegend is referring to the fact that the alterer of that card sells duplicates on ebay all the time, and they frequently fetch $10-15. If you go to ebay completeds you'll see that 5 have sold in the last 2 months.
I don't know about other people, but for me it was the hard way. I sold stuff for much less than it was worth, and bought a lot of cards I didn't really need when I first got to market street. Once I got up to 15 unique refs, the rest was easy. Just made 100 unique a few days ago.
It's still hard. Nowadays I mostly just sell to dealers for roughly the same prices I have on my sales thread (I haven't updated in awhile) and they take a lot of the stuff that no one is looking for.
I tried hard to make honest repacks work (just by theorizing), but I decided it couldn't be done. The main reason is because you can't guarantee every lot in the listing gets sold, meaning you can't make it a raffle for one awesome prize. And if you just make it so that every X packs is sure to contain something decent (but not amazing) then a lot of the excitement is gone for the buyer.
It's a struggle between how many lots are listed, how good the top prizes are, and how cheap each lot is. And frankly there is no winning combination. The ones you see that have 5,000 lots, tons of Power 9 in the pictures, and sell for $1.99 a lot are just straight up scams.
Yes. One stamp covers a PWE that weighs 1 oz or less. My bubble mailers plus top-loaders typically weigh between 0.6-0.7 oz, so a PWE should be much less.
That works, but I always use $0.65 stamps to cover the $0.20 non-machinable surcharge. Not sure if it's worth it though, since I have no way of proving if it helps or if the PO employees even notice.
An incident came up and he couldn't pay for it. So, I have to do something with it now, therefore I went ahead and reworked it. New sky and metallic paint.
I'm curious...your ad says you charge $20 per alter and yet you list a $50 card on ebay with a $50 markup?
And I'm no artist, but unless there's a copyright on the alter then it's fair game once it's posted on the internet. If the client who commissioned the original didn't want to see copies then he could have requested that the card not be posted online.
Why the hell did he even do it? He was ahead on board, his opponent had effectively no cards in hand, and he even had another Stoneforge in his hand to get the Batterskull the next turn.
Or try ebay. You could sell it for nearly the card's value, if you aren't bothered by ebay fees.
They are fairly substantial these days, but you're right; depending on the card, he may have better luck selling on ebay than on Salvation for the same net price.
I'm also always weary for expensive sales on eBay because the buyer is protected and it's easy to say your cards didn't arrive.
You dish out all that info and then make this statement?
They can say they didn't get them but it won't do any good, because you obviously shipped with DC (and maybe even signature confirmation). The only real thing they can say is that you sent them the wrong cards or that the package was empty. Most people are honest though and just trying to buy cards. In fact, the only time I've had that happen to me was on Salvation.
Unless you only sent about 10 cards, I will be absolutely shocked if they don't send you back something. They've rejected cards that had literally come out of a pack before. Granted, sometimes the centering or ink is off, which can make some cards out of a pack less then mint. But, there's been a higher then average amount sent back that had no noticeable flaws.
Despite all that, I still sent a few things into them recently. I wanted to see if choosing store credit rather then cash makes a difference in how they handle everything. The sales weren't very large, and until my most recent batch, I had never had an issue with them for years.
You've been selling to them for years? I'm curious because they've been so damn slow lately I'm considering taking them off my list.
Also, I recently had them return cards with wear that I'm sure they didn't have when I sent. It's possible they got damaged on the way there, but I kind of doubt it.
Envelop
I could see it getting reprinted and seeing no play, since I'm pretty sure it didn't the first time either.

Primeval - $7-8
Grave - $3
Sun - $2-3
Inferno - $1-2
Frost - $1

I hardly ever actually lol when reading MTGS, but somehow you got me.
