I really dont think "whats next", but as some friends suggested, SoK will be to compliment the others (more snakes, more moonfolk, more sammys, more ninjas, more everything)
yeah, its like when theres a samurai of the pale curtain in play and a player sacs an artifact to a ravager and has a disciple in play. the artifact going to the graveyard is replaced by it being removed from play, so the ravager gets a +1/+1, but disciple never triggers

Once damage goes on the stack the damage to be dealt is already determined. You can't just boost the creature either. Plus it doesn't remember the other creature and is suddenly a DEAD 6/1 creature that just dealt 2 damage (probably to a 3/3 that now survived)
