I don't care about your reaction to Tom. I care that one of your firsts posts in the game was to call me out for having a strong town read on Sir Chris, and your immediate follow up action was to..vote someone based 100% on SC telling you to do so. I just don't see this ever being town behavior.

And even in your summary post here. You tell us not to ignore Iso's reads, but, the thing Iso wants to do right now is lynch..you?

Anyway. This isn't my preferred lynch for today, but I think it's the best one we're going to get. Vote: Jobie
The Tordeck vote was stupid and I got sucked into the allure of Sir Chris, there's no other way for me to put it.

RE: Iso's reads, I don't think I was ever his strongest scum read. Tom and Chris were both above me and he seemed to focus his gaze on Nacho before finally hopping on me because I'm the popular wagon that aligns with his reads. I never said he was infallible, just absurdly accurate in Day 1.

It's really frustrating that I'm the "settling" lynch after this absurdly long Day 1.

I want to lynch you because you are the scumminest person who hasn't claimed a role that will resolve itself. Also the day has been dragging and we need to lynch someone.

I also hate when there isn't something to refute but given the circumstances, this needs to happen.

My scum read is based off of your contradiction which was raised against you in a case plus mediocre involvement.

It really does stink to be lynched when people are voting for you without giving reasons.
The latter half of line 3 has nothing to do with my alignment and everything to do with being busy with school when the game started, the holidays and then my wedding. Cyan has nailed me for using excuses in the past, but I don't think it was a fair reason to try to lynch me now, nor then. I'm above the mod-line and have more posts than at least 4 other players in this game. I've also continuously stated I'm dog***** taco on Day 1 and try to avoid them at all costs.

    I concur with #2339

    @Jobie
What's your read on me right now?
I wrote up some sentences that were basically me trying to say I have no ******* clue, but then I lost them. Your voting style confuses me, but you've also stayed under my radar. Maybe that's because I haven't had the time to do anything, but it bothers me. Not enough to suspect you, but enough that if I survived until tomorrow, I would take a peek at you.

@Chris I had counted L-3, including Cyan's previously botched vote that he's now fixed.

Hey Cyan, you dropped this, ":".

Also, Cyan, we've been through this in the past (like long ago past). I H-A-T-E, HATE!, being run up with nothing to dispute. I'm going to go for the "come at me bro" defense every time if no one is building real cases.

The "Jobie is scum because he's being mean to Tom" is such a bull***** case on me. To the point that I'm more than half tempted to join you and Iso in retirement. I'm also sick and tired of the horrifically unlucky role distribution. Like, can a guy get a town power role for once?

Since I'm at L-3, along with the ambassador vote floating around and the Vaimes and Citric's votes that left me to go after Hansa, I'll claim:

I'm Zipacna, VT. It's ***** like this combined with getting run up that makes this not fun for me.

with the cavalcade of votes likely to come, I'll post my thoughts:
    1) Don't ignore Iso's reads, he's been comically great in the last few games of nailing the scum team Day 1. I wouldn't be surprised if he's 4 for 5 on scum reads.
    2) Tom and Chris need to be lynched. At worst, it's a good information lynch, at best you get two scum.
    3) Don't let Cyan or Seppel live to LYLO, unless they've been cleared by other means
    4) Pressure the lurkers and the replacement players. The number of strong posters in this game is giving a lot opportunities for scum to hide and I wouldn't be shocked if at least 2 scum are in our replacements + Lurker group.
    5) I was really excited to play this Stargate themed game, but it's been disappointing to this point.
    6) Pengo, Rhand and Iso are probably my strongest town reads. Tordeck should be left alone for the time being, along with Cyan (though for Cyan, see #3).

I wish I had more time to invest in this game... or maybe I should just replace into every game instead of just starting /in. I seem to work better that way.

    welp.

    Vote Jobie

I'll finish up my response to TS sometime after I sleep, and spoiler it so that it doesn't take up a bunch of space in the event that no one else actually cares about it.
This is pretty much the only thing in 2016 you've posted about me being scum. Besides "Spiteful LOL Tom iz scum guiyz" being a scummy Jobie behavior in your T/S post. I think trying to Meta-me based off of my read on Tom is poor logic, since at best it's a null tell due to my back-to-back neutral games in my two games with Tom.

I would appreciate you casing me, Iso.

I have returned from my escapades of holy matrimony. I will catch up on the thread tonight/tomorrow.

From my skimming I did last night in bed it looks like Chris claimed without any pressure and people are believing it, Tom soft-claimed (awkwardly) and Plow claimed a fun role.

I'm skeptical of Chris' claim. I especially liked someone (Tordeck, maybe?) who pointed out the significant number of "nothing, but auto-*********" posts Chris has posted. I plan on dropping my Tom case to take a peek at the inner-workings of Chris, barring something horrific.

Why are you going to focus on Sir Chris first? We are not going to lynch him today, since his claim will resolve itself over night.
Why do you want to focus on Chris and not someone else you find scummy and whose towniness won't self-resolve over night?

    1) I wanted to read up on Chris first because he was the counter wagon to me and was probably my second scum read (after Tom, due to the connection to Tom).
    2) Because no one seems to agree with me on Tom being scummy and thinks I'm rocking confirmation bias hardcore. Plow was probably my next scummiest, but his claim negates a need for a case on him.

**** it, I'll take a look at Hawk. Since his claim had me leaning town before, maybe I can resolve this wishy-washy-ness by reading his posts instead of just thinking about his role claim.

It would also help if someone posted something for me to refute instead of just trying to run me up.

I also need to catch-up on my vote tracking notes, because I'm a bit behind on those.

Man, getting married takes a lot out of you, especially when it also causes you to have to shovel snow multiple times during the week.

@Hunt: The case from what I can tell is "LOL, Jobie is crusading against Tom again because he hates Tom".
I'm giving Seppel and the neighbors the benefit of the doubt for now. I believe Tordeck is basically confirmed town. Seppel coming out as neutral off the bat and not miller gives more credence to his alignment claim. He does not need to be dealt with today.
I like the design behind Iso's role. It would be a creative version of a back-up. I think with Hawk's claim it gets more sketchy. I'm more likely to believe Iso's claim, but that's probably my desire to like the more complex role and my non-role related view of Iso.
Plow claimed the delayed confirm townie. We'll let that sort itself out.
Obviously, I believe that Cyan can kill people. At worst he's an SK, but I don't think Cyan is playing like anti-town Cyan. I'm just hoping we don't have to add Cyan to "AzWOLG" (though I guess I AzWOLG'ed in Predator).

And yes, Hunt. It was you and our mutual love of pointing out other's auto-********* that I wanted to /barn.

@Iso:Why should I have claimed? I'm currently at my highest # of votes (5). I also don't think I've seen a compelling reason why you think I'm scum. I'd rather discuss my supposed scummyness than claim, since I'm not sure why you think I'm scum.

    Do it for us.
    alright. I reread it.
I mean, I know he's wrong. And it's not a great case. But he's not making ***** up, he's just interpreting the data incorrectly.
Does his case sucking make him scum?

jobie could totally be scum. i dont like that hes yelling "misrep" about calling it a full case and then continuing not to put in the work to make it one.
Maybe if you didn't post so much inane *****, I could have done it in a night before I went V/LA. So **** you on that bull***** smear attempt. I'm on V/LA right now (and about to go full dark for 72 hours), so I'm not going to take the time to build a case when I'm supposed to be spending time with family. I'm able to respond to points thrown in my direction that take little effort but I can't do anything big.

I talked about Jobie moving from Tom to Tordeck to Tom back again; do you think that's an action that Jobie takes as town?

I also don't understand your approach of our approach in general; I'm pushing Jobie, Jobie's responding with basically nothing in return. How does that equal intertwined so significantly where you can't even attempt to start unraveling the knot?
I'm sorry I've been unable to respond to you while V/LA, once I'm done with the festivities surrounding tying the knot on Saturday, I'll be back to normal, zippy Jobie.

Full on Vacation/No-Access Now until Monday.

@Voxx You're right to call me lackluster, I'm mediocre at best. Avant Garde was a flash of brilliance for me assisted by having day-chat with Chris to talk me out of doing stupid *****. I'm like Cyan: bad-[player name here] doesn't make scum-[player name here].

Nice misrep of that being a complete case on Tom, Nacho. /jerkoffmotion. It obviously wasn't a complete case and I didn't have the time to look through the (now) 278 posts by Tom to create a case and obviously stopped before getting into anything meaty.

I'm not going to give you a response because this is just a bull***** smear attempt.

    **** you bold tags

@Taredas/Actual Forum Staff there's a deleted post somewhere in this thread (1674, I believe). Boo that person.

@Nacho: I'm not ignoring you, but I find it peculiar you're looking at my first big post rather than my more recent reads. I'll respond to you when I'm not on mobile.[/quote]
