Turns out Dryad Arbor isn't as cool as I'd thought after being reminded that, because he is a creature, I can't tap him for mana turn 1.
I played one guy who was also sporting a homebrew :symw::symg: deck (the one win I got) which kept comboing-out on me with Ghost Quarter + Leonin Arbiter + Linvala, Keeper of Silence. ..IDK, lemmie think... Another dude annihilated me with 1-drop poison creatures fueled by cheap-common pump spells. That round lasted 15 mins, if that.. Bringing back poison-counters was the dumbest idea WotC has had in a looong time, IMO.
Yeah, I didn't have fun. I should (and do) know better than to go to those highly competitive tourney's & expect anything else. Everyone knows I am more a collector than a player. I wish I knew why. I enjoy playing w/ people I know, but not strangers.
Dagg - I have some innistrad foils but can't really name them off the top of my head short of my 4x playsets of Snapcaster MageFoil which I thought would be a good investment. ..At least I was right about my Sphinx's RevelationFoils.
I don't understand why people read books. I never cared for it much. I understand it how people say they are good because you use your imagination while reading. But my point is everything in life is mostly reading already; from an average workday to driving to and from & even looking over the interwebs. I'm not gonna go sit in a corner and read paper all night. IDK, just my perspective. To each their own..

When casting Dust Elemental can I target a token creature I control to return to hand as 1 of the 3. (Which I know would mean the token would no longer exist.) But still..just curious..
I still don't like Watchwolf, but hey, if you're going for the fun factor, I think you'll be good. Just remember to watch out for Restoration Angel when you're attacking with them into 4 untapped mana...

As for my font color, I used to use Orange. People complained it was unreadable, so I changed to it. If you have any other suggestion, I'll gladly change....
The main reason for Watchwolf is (he is a 2 drop 3/3) I can hope for, Turn 1: Tap something for = BoP. Turn 2: = Watchwolf. Turn 3: Enchant Shield of the Oversoul & swing for 5/5 flying indestrutible. This is a long shot I know. But whoever I throw than enchantment on is gonna be buff reguardless.
Why you gotta hate the Watchwolf? He is friendly and wants to be loved. Would you suggest something other than him? If so I'd condsider it.

But let “Gaymers” talk about “peeking at decks” all they want; if that bothers you, than you’re a homophobe or a bigot. I, myself, was sexually abused by an older male child when I was young. So I read that thread title back then and thought “that’s dumb” then moved on with things I had to do. So you see, I can understand someone who may have been sexually assaulted not seeing the humor in a quote from a movie they’ve likely never seen. But somewhere, somehow, someday people are going to have to learn they can’t make everyone & everything else change b/c they don’t like “this” or “that” offends them.
In life, you’re better off learning to endure & overlook things you don’t like, so long as they don’t affect you directly. If you want to start and/or fight in every cause you can find, prepare for a short & sad life.

I think after the last thread (time-span-wise) & all the drama that happened therin, Ria needed a break. Just my hunch.
I'm gonna sit down tonight and hash out my final draft on my Modern deck for PTQ Saturday. I am going with a plan to have a good time; nothing else.
