The team had barely taken the field when Syrenz broke from his allocated position and tackled Arcadic.
"Hey!" Arcadic wheezed, struggling for breath as he lurched away from Syrenz. "What the hell was that about?!"
With a curse, Syrenz pounced away from Arcadic and shouted to the rest of the team.
"I'm pretty sure I just saw him giving signals to someone in the stands! Could be a bad guy! Probably a bad guy!"
The team shrugs - Syrenz was clearly mad, but since when had insanity stopped a good old lynching before? The team grabbed Arcadic and hung him by his tights.
There was no doubt that without his tights, Arcadic was Arcadic, a Scorer, Vanilla Town.
Ace's Aces retired, disgruntled and each fearing for his own neck. Another day, another down.

The game starts up once more in the early hours of the morning. A glance at the newspaper headline for the day reads "Day 3 of the Softball Game - Coach Eliminated". The by-line reads "The Coach of Ace's Aces, known only as V (to close friends and family, ~V~, Coach, Town Cop, passed away in his sleep last night." Further reading reveals that V passed away with a knife sticking out of his chest. The town shares nervous glances - surely a newspaper would never miss an opportunity to showcase a murder story.
Fortunately for the town, they have bigger fish to fry than shoddy journalistic editing - they have murderers to catch, and the days keep ticking away with the team getting smaller by the game.
If there ever was a time to catch the murderers, it would be in the near-future.

The town is furious that Zionite has let two perfect strikes come straight down the middle. The team jeers Zionite, and the stress gets to him - he cracks, and storms out of the batter's box, bat in hand and a snarl etched on his face.
Luckily for the team, Zionite trips into a piece of rope on the ground. Seizing the advantage, the town hastily ties the rope to an overhanging tree and hang Zionite.
A quick glance at the scorebook shows that Zionite was a Base Umpire, Vanilla Town.

It is now Night 2. Night 2 lasts for 72 hours - get those actions in asap.
Well, a mate bought me the game for 360 last night at the launch party, went home and went to sleep. Woke up and put a solid 4/5 hours into the game, then got hit with this save bug that is apparently plaguing people. Save files were all corrupt, and I couldn't save onto my usb storage. I restarted and saved to the 360 hdd, which seems to work for the time being.
Sucks putting effort into the game and having it all thrown out the window. Kind of turns me off wanting to put the effort in again, if it's all for naught.
Well, seeing as I just won tickets to the Sydney launch party of New Vegas, I'd say I'll be there, if only for the free booze, drink and giveaways (hopefully the game itself).
Enough of this discussion of Role PM's. The next person to discuss it gets a mod-kill, and from then on I will be slaughtering anyone who even uses the letters 'P' or 'M' in a post.
You have been warned. Get back to playing the game, and not gaming me.
