No. Again, this only works if the creature returns to their control 'at end of turn'.

You can't do that. That only works if the card says 'gain control of target creature. At end of turn, return that creature to its owner's control.'

It's great for, in Limited, stealing creatures as an instant and blocking with them. Completely screws up your opponents' combat math. It's also basically a 5/2 for 3 and a couple burn/bounce spells.

Finally, something for Red Deck Wins' sideboard against Life.dec that doesn't have to sit onna table.

Probably about 2000 real life cards, about 7500 online.

Two words: Burn and Bounce.

If you could manage to get this dude in a BUr deck, with magma jet, terror, barter in blood, glacial ray, echoing truth, unsummon, reach through mists, consuming vortex .. once you have control, there's no stopping you.

Maybe even just a B/U deck with Toshiro, unsummon, truth, reach, consuming vortex, dampen thought (omg), soulless revival .. my god guys, I think we've found our splice deck. Barter in Blood, grave pact (maybe), devour in shadow maybe.

Put things in the graveyard, bounce things to hand with free cards, splice onto free cards for more free cards.

Think it could work?

I really hope they don't **** up Boondock Saints 2. I had never heard of that movie coming out, but am very excited.

Before the GPT on Saturday, they skipped normal FNM and had a half-price Extended tourney for everyone to test their decks that they were switching out for other crap the next day.

I'm 23, just started playing competitively about 9 months ago with the prerelease of Darksteel being my first ever DCI-sanctioned event.

Limited: 1657, was up to 1702 for a while
Constructed: 1665, without my win at FNM extended on Friday (no FNM cards, was a primer for..) and my 4th place at the GPT the following day also extended.
