If all three of these are in play do you lose life for each card? Or will megram go back to your hand thus only taking damage for the first card discarded
it sounds like the confusion might be coming from the thought that allowing the tutor to resolve somehow then allows everything to resolve. (I believe I am interpreting your statement correctly). This is not how the rules work. The only way something on the stack can resolve is by both (or all) players passing priority to do anything. This then lets the top object on the stack (and only the top object) to resolve. Once that object resolves, both (all) players then have another opportunity to respond. If no one does, then the next object resolves. This is repeated until the stack has fully resolved. Hopefully that clarifies it a little more.
Yes it does, thank you all very much. The rules section of this board is greatly appreciated.
Ok I guess where we were confused was that if the tutor resolved on the stack, then the original spell my friend cast would have to resolve too before I drew the card.
My buddy played a spell I did not like (doesn't matter what it was).
I had a Sphinx of Magosi in play. Am I able to use a mystical tutor to bring a counterspell to the top of my library and then use the Sphinx's ability to draw that counter and use it against my buddy's spell?
I presume I am unable to do that, but wanted to make sure.
If I cast treachery and steal Mogis, God of Slaughter, and when it comes to me my devotion is less than 7, it's not a creature anymore. Does treachery fizzle?
Can you run snow covered lands and cards that offer the alternative to pay life (like on Phyrexian Metamorph) if your commander doesn't have snow or life pay symbols in it's CMC or card text?
My buddy has a lovely habit of using living death to bring back multiple copies of cards like yosei, the morning star and kokusho, the evening star to the battlefield only to have them instantly die due to the legend rule. It causes quite a headache when this happens.
My question: can I use, say, path to exile on one of the beasts when they hit the battlefield, thus negating the instant death/headache that comes along with having all my stuff tapped for multiple turns and having him gain 30 life (we usually play with 2-3 other folks).
Limited resources is in play and there are more than 10 lands in play. I cast sylvan primordial. May I destroy permanents? May I put the subsequent lands into play?

Thanks.

How do you go about "randomly" picking a pile?
Also, if you separate a creature from an aura attached to it, what happens if the creature is sacrificed and the aura isn't?
Same question, but applying that scenario to an attached equipment.
Thanks!
Just want to make sure. Thanks!
You cannot cast Yolo during your first 5 turns. Pay 19 life: Yolo gets +20/+18 and gains hexproof and is unblockable and indestructible.
Is Yolo good?
