I got a 990 on the SAT's; Pretty bad. I live right on the great lakes also so its -20 here and the salt cannot melt the snow and their is about 2 feet of snow overnight so I'm pretty much screwed to.

Hey, I'm the Vic. here I almost done got messed up because of this whacked school grad. requirment. Point is I should not had to of put my self in situation that comprmised my life, Liberty, and happiness. Also, I'm not the one that dropped out school or did what ever to screw my life up to have to live off the BACKS of the rest of us expecting free food etc. They made some really bad choices whether it was drugs, alchohol or crime. if anything this make me never want to to community service again. Some honest looking guy trys to pickup a teenage kid offering money etc.. Pretty messed up.

Also, I did my service for the salvation army so location are in the city. I'm not from the city I have no idea what situation I was getting into. Much like my class mates. We are from the suburbs where standing outside for 10 mins is a every day thing... As far as Im concered where ever there is a place for community service its probably not "good". I mean AIDS clinics and hostpitals... I'm sure those a real safe. Imagine a kid goes in and gets a needle stick ends up with HIV. The school supplys a list of orginizations where community service must be compleated. 95% being in the city. So as far as choices Their arn't any.
As far as the soup kitchen it was dirty as hell. Their were rats in the back food. I had to toss numerous food goods that were compleatly rat bitten. This is where The school sent me.

I worked there for a few hours at a soup kitchen in a bad area serving homless people food and cleaning dishs. After I called my dad to pick me up I waited outside and this Maroon Truck rolled around a few times then parked about 20 feet away from me on the side of the road. Then 10 mins later the truck pulls up next to me rolls down their windows and asked me what I was doing. I responded "nothin". Then the Middle aged Guy asks me if I want to go somewhere and he would pay and give me some money to.... I quickly responded "no"... Then the guy was like "are you sure" I responded "yes". He then started to beg me to get in his car and flashed me money. I then backed off and he rolled away. Apperently he thought he could eaily pick me up and take advantage of me. All of this because of manditory community service asigned by the school. I could of ended up raped or even dead if that guy had been more unstable and forced me into his truck. Is a few kids doing forced service really worth a kid ending up raped or even killed?
since I frequented MTGnews.com I have visted 100's if not thousands of forums many large and majorly sucessfull. None of which used a Warning system set in place here.
Also in responce to someone If someone is flamed should they have the choice whether they want to "press charges" ...see where Im going. If I went up to my boss as said that I do not belive I would be fired no because its not that kinda atmosphere, most of the real world isnt. In schools (public) kids under 18 have no rights when they enter the building so I dont see how this applies to this case.
Maybe if flaming was restricted to the General forums and only an offence on serious forums such as T2. Although people should be able to say "you are an idiot and your deck sucks IMHO"
I call for a scrapping of the warning system it REAKS of MTGNEWS.com. this place should be more loose calling someone a "cockbiting ********" for example should be tolerated as it is just a playfull insult nothing serious. The only people that should be banned are BLATANT disregard for people aka Spam raiding. Their should be the FIRST ammendment of the US constition on this forum!
As you remember how R_E got into that situation when he was not able to speak his own ideas without threat of banishment!
