Ok... So just throwing this idea out there at random with no idea if it's been said or even worth running since I haven't taken the time to read previous posts and deck lists in this thread, but if there's enough black creatures in the grave, has anyone tried running Crypt of Agadeem with some kind of "x" spell as an alt win con? Obviously the "x" spell would have to stay out of cascade range.... Mayb Maga, Traitor to Mortals or some burn spell or something? Just curious to the idea of if this was tried or if the idea had any chance. Lol

Not a fan of terminus guys. Heres the top 2 reasons why its crappy in turbofog:

    1. Makes it more difficult to win by milling
    2. Every rites of flourishing you play reduces the probability of you being able to miracle it by 50%(protip: thats A LOT)

I agree. Running turbo tonight, DoJ is much more suited for turbo if u want mill as a main or secondary win con. I played it to a 3-2 record tonight. Losing due to lack of mana and another due to my opponent having enough counter spells and snapcasters to make me spend 10 mana and 3 fogs. The deck I run is inconsistent to me but I run 3 colors and I don't rly have it as focused as I'd like it to be because I just play for fun. If I wanted to be competitive, it needs to be 2 colors in my book. If u r determined to run terminus, you better have turbofog deck that doesn't rely on its natural win con of mill. If ur going mill, you should probably take it out and replace it with DoJ and add in jace's erasure in the list somewhere

This is what I ran a few Fridays ago. I should have been 4-1 but I made a play mistake against r/g wolf run which I kno better not to do now:

Since then, I took out the garruks bc the ultimate, though sick as hell, was too slow when I only had 2 garruks. Took out terminus bc I found that it ruins one of the natural win cons of turbofog, mill. And took out tamiyo which I only did bc I wasn't running as many blue sources. Right now it seems like her ultimate would be sick bc I play a fog and it returns to my hand. I've added in another Blightsteel and another jace and witchbane orb. Also switched to DoJ bc it works better with the natural win con. Blightsteel seems slow but right now there only 2-3 ways to remove him and most aren't maindecking an answer to him. He straight out wins games if they have no answer. Jace just finishes the mill and Gideon is not only a fog that kps growinging in loyalty counters since u normally save him the first few turns but he's also a beast when he swings. I've played turbo since howling mine was reprinted and played it til temple bell and font and howlin mine were all rotated. U need more than just rites imo. Staff I feel is crap, bc it's u only and u want to force them out of a deck but I can see some uses. I personally won't run it. Atlas is a house. My first one draws at the end of my opponents turn until I find another. Then one draws on my turn while the other draws at the eot of my opponents. It's sick once u get them at 3-4 counters

Ok... Just curious... Which deck are you using rune flare trap against? I've never played legacy and I'm just curious. Are we talking "name-still" decks or like something running visions? Again, sry for the newb comment. Lol

I'm just sort of up and down between them bc the strategy is linear so I feel every card in the deck should follow that plan. Obviously not every card will but as many as possible and I feel like dealing that extra bolt to them is sort of important... I mean honestly... In affinity isn't the real threats of that deck only ravager and plating? I mean... Plating is what makes their evasive guys good bc otherwise they've got a bunch of 1/1's, a 0/2, etc without ravager or plating we should easily out race them right?

So what's ur guys opinions on the debate of shattering spree vs smash to smithereens bc I see the point for both and feel like I want to be playing smash to be getting in the extra damage and just destroy one of the two artifacts that actually problematic ie. ravaged or plating but spree takes out their field. I feel like getting the damage through is more important than clearing their board but I haven't rly played any modern yet to be honest

Here's what I'm working on at the moment:

To start off, I have recently been working into an eternal format and wanted to go legacy burn but never really had the money to do so until recently but I've been looking more at modern lately so here is my list. Yes, I know there's 64 cards. I'm stuck on what to remove from the list when my fellow friends told me that Vexing Devil is worth playing. I don't care what others have to say about wether or not it is or isn't. I will find that out during some events. The card I'm thinking about removing for the vexing devils are magma jet or incinerate. I have seen much debate about jet and in imho, if it's a staple in legacy, which is faster than modern, then it's worth playing but incinerate deals more damage and deals with bigger things. Thus I like it when if there's the need to remove a x/3 I can but having the ability to tuck some lands is always nice too. I know there was also talk about thunderous wrath being bad in opening hands, and i agree, so playing a set, to me, is wrong but as a 2-of I feel it's worth playing for a fourth of their life. Sideboard could also use suggestions and I'm kinda not sure what I would see outside of what each of the current listed sb cards deal with so I'm sort of trying to have a little against everything or a catch all to a few decks with each sb card. I also feel like i need a third flamebreak in the sb for some reason. Thanks for any and all advise.

I like to look at the deck names in the form of toast:

    R/b- Burnt Toast
    R/w- Lightly Toasted
    R- Toasted
    R/u- Moldy Toast

Maybe I just love food a little much. Hahaha. Just thought I'd try to bring some laughter and stupidity to the table.

I feel hellspark was never rly that bad. It's an early beater that come back after a board wipe and it can get around counters to some extent. I don't personally like figure because with all the mana I would use to sink into him, he'll eat a path or swords when I could have been throwing bolts at their face. I understand how he could b good but from my point of view, there is too much removal that I don't see how it survives. Between force, daze, sword, path, and correct me if I'm wrong because I'm not sure if dismember is in any lists near you but that takes out figure after you've sunk a bunch of mana into him. That's my view. I'm sure you can say the same about hellspark plus they can both be chumped but I can see a player letting hellspark at least do three but with figure, I see it as an auto removal spell
