Gods willing seems much better than Mizzium Skin because it has more versatility (like making a creature unblockable) than just protecting from targeted removal.
Please post how you did it, I assume that it was a foil to begin with, and you took off the ink. Then used stir-in pigments to give the sparkly effect?
I'd actually like to second this. I know it's been discussed here before and I've read it all. I've been using golden fluid acrylics that I had and while I don't end up quite as thick as what Pyro posted it does have depth. I find a hard time getting the balance between not watery enough so it has depth or too watery and it tends to repel a bit from the surface and not have great coverage.
Oh another note: That Nissa looks great, I'd love to compare it to the original full art piece because the areas you created look great.
And I'm HIGHLY anticipating the next installment of that Dark Ritual.
The answer I got was to use liquid acrylics. But what I have found most helpful is to give a base coat of black or grey so that you don't have to use so much paint to make the colors opaque. Hope this helps...
I need some help. I am getting this card finished up, but need some input. I don't necessarily want to clog the forum, so if anyone could PM me a critique and suggestions that would be immensely appreciated. I don't have any specific questions because I don't want you to focus on the stuff I am obsessing over, but rather, just what needs to be fixed.
Thanks!
It looks great. Two considerations: the expansion symbol, and there appears to be a vertical line running through the left side of the steps.

I'm with him. Ain't nothin' gonna outrace Belcher.
Personally, I think they turned out great, although Faye didn't turn out quite as I had hoped.
I would love some constructive criticism. Thanks.
THAT IS THE MOST AWESOME ALTER I HAVE EVER SEEN!

YOU WIN.
Best flooded strand that I have ever seen... It is a hard card to do too. Very nicely done!

Nice, I was planning to do something similar myself.
