If you are looking for a 3-drop that is good for your game plan, try Witchstalker. I have been playing him for quite some time and he has been a house.
Have you tried Hammer of Purphoros? Giving all your guys haste with upside seems really god, especially with Hydra and Ghor Clan. Also, adds some extra reach when you run out of creatures. Maybe as a 2-of to increase the count along with battledriver.
So both myself and another guy (Gemini) have been championing this deck on mtgo (though hes the only one that has been doing well with it... :P). I think this would be a good base to start with, and then replace cards with M14/Theros cards:
Chained to the rocks has "Enchant Mountain you control". This means that state-based effects will constantly check that the permanent it is enchanting is a Mountain, and you control it. If any of these things are not valid, the enchantment will fall off because it fails its criteria for enchanting it. It will then go to the graveyard and the creature that got exiled comes back.
303.4c If an Aura is enchanting an illegal object or player, the object it was attached to no longer exists, or the player it was attached to has left the game, the Aura is put into its owner's graveyard. (This is a state-based action. See rule 704.)
Bestow (If you cast this card for its bestow cost, it's an Aura spell with enchant creature. It becomes a creature again if it's not attached to a creature.)
Here is what normally happens:
-Wrath is cast and resolved. On resolution all creatures die.
- State based actions are checked. They see an aura with no creature to attach to. Aura goes to the graveyard.
Here is what happens with bestow:
-Wrath is case and resolved. On resolution, all creature die.
-State-based actions turns Archon into a creature because of Bestow. It is no longer an aura which is not attached to a creature and therefore does not go to the graveyard.
The timing is the same as if a creature got buffed post-combat damage with what would have been lethal damage pre-combat (example: Blood Baron of Vizkopa and a 1/1 attacks and Baron is blocked by a 4/4 red dude. The 1/1 causes your opponent to go to 10 life, and blood baron causes you to go to 30 life. Baron turns into an 10/10 before state-based actions can kill him due to combat damage. )
What about bubbling caldron and angelic accord? Fill the deck with removal/walls. Then turn them into 4/4's... It's an m14 strategy but...
Bubbling Cauldron would be better if you had more creatures to sacrifice. However, I would recommend Angelic Accord, since it can turn dead draws into angels with trading post.
Well, if you want to get really cheeky, throw a Mindslaver in there. You can Slaver lock with Trading Post. Get to 11 mana, Slaver them, during thier turn make a goat, on your turn sac the goat to get Mindslaver back, rinse wash repeat. Maybe another alt win con to throw in? Seems super out there, but what the heck, we're already playing Haunted Plate Mail
the deck has a ton of removal, ton of reach, and fat monsters, all piggybacking on a sketchy manabase that consists of 3 terramorphic expanse, 2 kodama's reaches, and 2 basic land cycling cards. i would probably play this, or close to it (maybe cut the countryside crusher to improve the deck's ability to play its spells).
I would probably play something similar, except I would add a little more white to the mix. Probably go:
-1 land
-1 countryside crusher
-1 warren wierding
-1 electrolyze (This is good, dont get me wrong. I just don't think its good enough to splash)
+2 Cenn's Enlistment
+2 Bound in Silence
I would still play the singleton island for tribal flames.
He survives Bile Blight, Infest 2.0 AND Anger of the gods.
Guy is infinite value.
He was refuting the claim that there are 5 BNG packs + seeded pack.
The fact that the other 3 packs are Theros was implied and should have been obvious.
In response to your fetch, Jace is unexpectedly absent!

Mindslaver is not legal in Standard <_<
If you have a low creature curve, and a lot at specific cmcs, its OK. Other than that, its pretty poor.

Else, I will try for the arcane plan, with Glacial Ray.
Do we know if its a sorcery or an instant?
