i'm betting he'll be useful, because he's very playable, especially if you accelerate with KOTR. the synchronicity is pretty high between the two: both trigger landfall, one accelerates into the other.
also it's great that realm razer can hold your opponent hostage: if they block, he dies and you get landfall effects (i'm assuming there are good ones yet unrevealed that don't just give a creature +x/+x).
in the best circumstance, there would be an enchantment with a landfall ability that does direct damage when lands hit. that way you could wrath DOJ/fallout everyone including realm razer to do damage and sweep at the same time.
if that doesn't turn out, hopefully we'll see a 2-3 CMC creature with landfall buffs and evasion.
so you want to discard cruel and violent using chandra, and then use her ultimate ability to play win spells? you have nothing in there to protect chandra, and no way to play 8 useless spells should chandra never show up.
also you have no blockers to protect her from getting attacked, and she might just get bolted anyways, leaving you screwed. if you wanted to make a deck which abuses chandra's ultimate, i'd go BR. plenty of discard, plenty of burn, megrim, blightning.
THEN you can throw in cruel ultimatum, so that it works (splash blue) regardless of you drawing chandra or not.
yay creatureless deck, seems like a horrible idea still. not quite sure if you'd draw enough removal to keep chandra alive before you could unleash the death.
Unless they print shocklands in Zendikar or Worldwake the Knight won't see a huge boost due it's current value in the standard scene. I've been playing the Knight competively for almost a year now in standard. Terramorphic does the same as the fetch without the loss of life. This of course could change if Zoo (or Loam/Deathcloud/Rock for that matter) starts running the Knight more in extended (which I advocate).
wrong. Terramorphic expanse puts your bland into play tapped. Arid Mesa does not.
and nothing stops you from using both Terramorphic Expanse AND these zen duals. hell, throw in some panoramas too. and rampant growth. and KOTR.
Yeah! White/Red Soldiers seems like it could be really good. Also, how about some Goblin Assault with your Glory of Warfare? I think it's solid. I'm damned excited.
don't know about goblin assault, i was just thinking something like swordsmiths, armorsmiths, elite vanguard, honor of the pure, captain of the watch, elspeth, lightning bolt, and glory of warfare.
WR goblins would be good if it weren't for goblin assault's forcing you to attack with all goblins. if only there was a red or white card that let you tap them.
well there goes the neighborhood. now i can get rid of those terramorphic expanses in favor of enemy fetch lands! still keeping those alara trilands though.
but finally i can get a decent manabase for WR soldiers! hooray!
maybe the problem isn't cookie-cutter aggro decks, but that all of you people think the same cards are good.
maybe this cult of card quality is what's making your decks so similar. it would be nice if wotc would print a set where all the cards have about the same power level, but then people will cry, "underpowered set!".
i unabashedly use bad cards. makes the game more fun, more diverse. instead of running some deck archetype, i run something totally different and unique. sure, it doesn't win consistently, but at least i'm not playing [standard elf deck # 1] or [lol kithkin].
i'd like to see freyalise come back as a planeswalker, maybe as a WG card or something. she could be the feryalise before she was corrupted back in apocalypse.
too bad there's only been one enemy-colors planeswalker printed so far: i think there's room for more of those, since everyone loves enemy colors decks. maybe Selenia, Dark Angel. i always thought she was cool beans.
i also think there's enormous potential for legends introduced in the alara and llorwyn blocks to come back as planeswalkers. nobody liked mayael of the anima or rakka mar (except me, i think she's awesome). rakka would be areally cool planeswalker, what with that skull she straps to her head and all. WBR maybe? t'would be pretty cool.
the bad feeling i have about this kind of stuff is that there will be even MORE spot removal printed.

i'd go:
4 megrim
4 lightning bolt
4 duress
4 blightning
4 terminate
4 hideous end
2 liliana vess
4 volcanic fallout
2 diabolic tutor

oooh, KOTR + Scythe Tiger = hooray.
also realm razer + landfall.
