Okay, so I've graduated from college (at age 23) with a general liberal arts degree and I'm thinking about various careers paths to take. One thing that stood out to me was physician assistant as it gives you an opportunity to help people and make a very good salary, not to mention being very high in demand.
However, there are some issues. I have no background in chemistry or biology, so basically I'd have to go back to college to get that pre-med knowledge and experience. I haven't taken chemistry or bio for a very long time, and I don't remember what the material is like or if I can really do it. Also, my dad says that becoming a physician assistant is a dead-end career and not very respectable for males. But I think becoming a doctor at this point is definitely out of the question, having to apply for medical school, having superior grades, having prepared, etc etc.
I'm not sure what I should do, but I am looking at college level chemistry and biology books to see if I can handle the material. Do you guys think, with someone such as I with no science background, if I should even consider something in the medical field, or is it too late for me? Also, some insight into what its like taking college level chemistry and biology courses would be appreciated, thanks.
This card really makes me want to play a pure control deck.
In many ways, this card is better than cryptic command. And therefore, will be worth a lot more. If some decent counters are printed in WWK, control will come back in full force and you'll be seeing this guy everywhere.
This guy is INSANE!!!!! NEVER, would I thought he would've been this good!
Free brainstorm +fetches = this guy is god
scry 1 = for 2 extra life, so worth it, and its pretty good in control
BOUNCE = infinite???? for 1 loyalty!! SO GOOD! This is everything a control player could hope or want.
No doubt he will replace the old jace (how can it cost 0 for brainstorm!!)
He will easily reach elspeth prices if not higher. Probably will see play in extended too!
Due to a simple targeted card draw being -1 on Jace. However WotC doesn't always play on the same page and may be trying to adjust a weak aspect of the original Jace so it could be -1 as well. It definitely is not a + arrow border. While neutral (-/+ 0) has never been seen, I don't see Brainstorm being a 0 cost ability.
That would just plain suck, and I dont believe it.
COMPARE
Garruk's -1 is put a 3/3 beast token into play
Ajani's -1 is to put +1/+1 counters AND vigilence on your guys
Lliana's -2 is vampiric tutor
Ajani V's -2 is Lightning Helix
Brainstorm is not necessararily greater than "draw a card"
Okay...lol...it IS, but its more of a -1.4 ability. Its nowhere near the level of vampiric tutor or lightning helix. It's closer to -1 (and is rightfully along the same lines as garruk's 3/3 beast token)
It will definitely go to elspeth prices (and maybe higher) if either brainstorm or unsummon were + abilities. Its not entirely infathomable...elspeth had that stupid +1: "target creature gets +3/+3 and flying" ability.
This card seems insanely good in a control deck. Elspeth and Garruk are amazing because they have an immediate impact on the board. Old jace was good because it gave you reliable source of card draw as well as being a really good mill card. This card not only gives you an insane amount of card draw (through brainstorm!!) BUT it also can set player's back a turn by bouncing an expensive fatty (baneslayer??)!!
Fateseal ability is pretty decent. If you're playing a control deck, it essentially helps you "dig" deeper by one extra card (which is actually really really good, kind of like a merfolk looter?) so you can draw into your bombs more quickly
This card is the control players dream. But will it replace the original jace? Will it be worth as much as elspeth?
If control comes back, it'll probably be a 15 dollar card. Its way better than the original jace by far (barring the cost for the 2nd and 3rd ability arent retardly bad).
EDIT: scatch 15 bucks, it's a mythic. Probably 20+ bucks!
But it's too good of a hoser. Not only it would it destroy jund, but it'd destroy 80% of the decks in the format. And RDW would basically become the new jund.
Right now Vampires is teetering on tier 1 status. Just 1 or 2 more vampires could really push vamps over the top and easily make it the new dominant deck of the format. What cards do you think Worldwake will print to push the vampire tribe?
Here's one:
Count Dracula's Castle
1B
Enchantment - Vampire
During your upkeep, lose 1 life and put a 1/1 vampire bat token with flying into play.
AltimasJust because you both missed it doesn't mean it still didn't die. He should not have been a jerk about it, but I think he did win.
THe main problem was that I planned my actions during his next turn based on that worldqueller being alive (saving myself via Narrow Escape), and even if we both knew the queller would die, I could've saved him. But with him just throwing the queller in the yard during his next turn, I essentially couldn't do anything to defend myself (when could've laid down another creature during my turn, etc).
Okay, so let's say I've got a Worldqueller in play and some bears. He Marsh Casaulties destroying my bears and he attacks with some 3 of his own bears. I block with worldqueller. He puts the blocked creature into the yard. We both miss that the worldqueller was supposed to die too. He passes the turn. With my worldqueller in play, I plan for the next attack phase. During his next turn, he debates attacking with all of his creatures; he realizes then that my worldqueller was supposed to die, and he picks up my worldqueller and puts him into the graveyard and attacks for lethal. I tell him he can't do that -- we both missed that worldqueller was supposed to die and that we're at an irreperable game state. He gets angry at me and starts calling me names. I get upset myself and we get into a heated argument. Clearly, when I want to discuss the issue further, he just scoops up his cards and tells the organizer he won.
Should he have done this? How would a judge have ruled in this situation?
Say I've got a lot of +1/+1 counters on Scute Mob, if my opponent casts Snakeform on it, does it become a 1/1 or do the counters still helps my scute mob stay big? Thanks.

Unsummon being -2 makes zero sense to me too. -2 is for super powerful abilities like lightning helix.
Use the quote BUTTON next time.
Do not copy/paste posts.
We have a button for a reason.

Stop using the word 'retarded' like that
+2 Fateseal 1
? Brainstorm
? Unsummon
? Exile target player's library
3 loyalty

Plus, fetchlands would become gawd-awful.
You could try maindecking her in boros-bushwacker

Yes. Post-SB, in comes:
4x Great Sable Stag
4x Gaddock Teeg
4x Burrenton Forge-tender
Do you still think 5-CC stands a chance against us?
