That's basically what I'm doing; my character knows all of the Kanto and Johto Pokemon; he still scans all of them with the Pokedex, though, to fill it up. Hoenn and the fourth region he's completely new to.
"Sindaquil, meet the thing head on! Like a tank!" Donnie shouted. Sindaquil jumped up and tried to tackle the mentally retarded pidgey in midair. Their bodies connected.
Ah, I forgot I even used that adjective. My mistake, then :]
Sindaquil was breathing heavily; he was starting to overtax itself with the amount of flames he was belting out. The starly's sweet song taunted him but all he could do was leer back.
"FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUU!" Donnie raged. "If I knew how to use this stupid broadsword I'd cut down that stupid tree!" He pointed frantically at the starly up in the branches.
Sindaquil, sharing Donnie's frustration, stared angrily at the mentally handicapped pidgey. The combination of taking the first hit, his opponent moving out of his smokescreen, and his inability to even reach his opponent was causing the cyndaquil, nicknamed Sindaquil, to rage.

An explosion was heard in the distance.
"What was that?" Donnie and his cyndaquil, nicknamed Sindaquil, turned their heads toward the docks. "No matter." Donnie focused his attention on the battle again. "Arg! Sindaquil, blast it with fire or something!"
Angry, Sindaquil opened its mouth to shoot a blast of flame into the trees.

Is that how we'd deal with learning new moves? And I guess that was a bit presumptuous of me to use two new moves in one post but it flowed very well :]
Sindaquil didn't expect the starly to turn around so quickly (he thought the bird was mentally handicapped) so the attack took him by surprise. He tried dodging out of the way, but the starly was too quick and hit him in the back.
"Maybe this bird isn't mentally handicapped after all," commented Donnie. "I'll have to get an IQ test for him/her (circle one) after I've caught it... Sindaquil, smokescreen!"
Sindaquil got back on his feet and filled the area with a dense smoke.
"This Pokemon either loves forming lines or rubbing things smooth. Either way, Sindaquil, here it comes."
Donnie took his usual battle stance (it looked sort of homosexual to an outsider) as he and his cyndaquil, nicknamed Sindaquil, prepared for battle. The starly had the first attack but both trainer and Pokemon were ready long before the mentally challenged bird had noticed them. Sindaquil side-stepped the starly's tackle and leered at him/her (circle one).
If we were to leave the route and come back, would we have to roll two more die or would our previous die rolls count? Basically, do we roll two die each time we want to cross the route?
Donnie spotted a small bird out of the corner of his eyes. He frowned slightly.
"That thing looks like a mentally handicapped pidgey," he said to his cyndaquil, nicknamed Sindaquil. "I wonder what it is..." He trailed off as he pulled out his Pokedex and aimed it at the mentally handicapped pidgey while his cyndaquil, nicknamed Sindaquil, grinned and got ready to charge.
No problem :]. I just figured you'd want to play a bit instead of doing all the administrative work here.
By the time he reached the route out of Livian Port, Donnie had calmed down. In fact, seconds after he stormed away from the free market he had forgotten why he was angry.
Donnie stared out at the road ahead. "They could easily install an interstate through here," he commented. His cyndaquil, nicknamed Sindaquil, looked at him, confused.

Immersa, I just realized you're basically doing all of the "God" work and not playing the game yourself. If you want, you can send me whatever information/data your using and I can keep track of your gameplay. Don't worry, I know how to role play characters in character. Donnie's just how he is...

"Sindaquil! Ember around!" Donnie shouted. Sindaquil fired a number of embers randomly throughout the area hoping to connect.

"Sindaquil! Smokescreen again! Blind it!" Donnie said and Sindaquil obeyed. There was now a thick fog rising up.

He doesn't have to hunt humans to kill one. He wanted to kill Liliana and her he just stumbled upon.
