Frankly I found the magic rpg rather boring and most of the pen and paper crowd were too distracted by that to pay full attention, so I turned my attention back to my video games (Which i've beaten a hundred times).
But no, I'm not mad at anyone, or even quit because of someone, i just got bored thats all.
I am sorry people, but I can't really get into this character, so what i'm willing to do is play him as a party artificier sorta like an npc status, if this is ok with the dm, and play another character as my main, he just won't be able to show up until the next battle against the giants.
Nelan is currently in the stands with the rest of the group to cheer on Flame.
The battle between the illusionist was won through a few tricks and images, as the evoker blasted at false threats the illusionist used other spells to end the fight.
The battle with the necromancer was rather simple, the necro mage weakend his opponent with magic before sending his undead minions over to finish the fight with realitive ease.
The abjurer did what an abjurer does best, fortifying his defenses before using his magic to assault his foe.
The beguiler through more trickery than even the illusionist took down his foe with rather spectacular shows and performances.
The diviner took down his foe with simple tactics for he seemed to know his foes moves even before the necromage did.
The other battles were completed much the same way, simple magical might over there opponent.
The local laws, are not fully followed in this event, the tournament is held by Laucian and is thus under his perview. The Thayans are just allowing their arena to be used. If Flame wins she wins the specified prize and thats it.
The Second round of the tournament begins with renewed vigor amongst the contestants. With delight the announcer begins to bouts with his magical whims.
The first match featuring the Illusionist and Necromancer goes over rather badly. Of course with the undead immune to the mind-effects of the illusionist they quickly overrun their foe with relative ease and enjoyment.
As with the first round, the abjurer's fortifications of magic allowed him to protect himself from his foe with little harm done, soon after the defenses were up his magic allowed him to assault his enemy for a quick win in this round of combat.
As with the previous battle and round, the diviner's knack for knowing the answers allowed him to fortell his foes attacks and prepare against them, soon after the match started his foe fell to the strategy of the diviner.
Now, as Flames opponent enters the arena, he prepares himself for combat against this well known battle-mage.
"I know nothing of this diviner, so I would speculate his skill is not legendary, however, any help would be good right now." Z says glancing back towards the path leading away from the city.
"As for leaving this place, I believe I can get us out of here, but we must make it back towards the previous portal." he says walking up the path towards the wall that the portal let out at.
Everyone, I apologize for my prolonged absence, but I haven't had the desire to be online in the last week or so. I'm trying to gain the feel for it again, but I'm not really sure.
I've just started my new job and my time is not really that free anymore.
