I would make a suggestion to run WBG. A graveyard reanimated deck. You literally have the best removal in those colours as well as some of the most degenerate creatures. Everything from creature removal, artifact and enchantment destruction, Planeswalker removal and hand destruction. Most of the commanders are synergistic with the style or Grindy games. I currently run Teneb, the Harvested for the reanimation ability. It's really up to you.
Porcelain legionaire would deal his damage to the troll with first strike. Regeneration then triggers healing the troll completely and causing the troll to be removed from combat and become tapped. All of this happens before the troll could attack and because the troll is now removed from combat he can no long deal damage in return.
It doesn't matter how much power the troll has. He could be a 500/2 and still be taken down by the Legionaire.
I'm pretty sure the card number shows 43 as well... This adds to the list of reasons it's fake... there is no way Wizards would print a set with 42 white cards alphabetically before this one, unless we saw colourless cards again like ROE
Yeah I'd have to say this set is not really a fail, everyone complains about "oh my boxes sucked, I lost money opening packs, blah blah blah" with every set that comes out.
I played in a sealed and opened Yosei, Adarkar Valkyrie, Tarmogoyf, Foil Tarmogoyf, Squee, Blood Moon, Scion of Oona, Path To Exile, foil Spell Snare.... and yes I am not lying when I say I opened up 2 goyfs in one sealed pool (also my heart almost stopped). Plus I opened 2 packs earlier in the day and got an ethersworn canonist + Doubling Season...
Our sealed event only cost $60 CDN, and our packs cost about $13.75 CDN. So yeah you can definately make your money back with solid pulls.
I don't see why Mortify won't be reprinted...there is still one slot left in the Name and Number Crunch.... and with Putrify back, why shouldn't they reprint Mortify?
I love how I will use 13 out of the 15 lands for EDH....Glacial Chasm and Desert aren't useful for me..... it's also a shame that I won't be able to pick up a set desperately need to have FTV: Realms
What about a cycle of lands similar to the style of Murmuring Bosk, not necessarily having anything to do with creature type, but more along the lines of having a basic land type but tapping for 3 different colours? It's something we haven't had yet.

Do the same for the other wedge colours? Just a thought... Also it would be very helpful for the wedge coloured EDH decks!
Stuffy Doll was tired and pissed off from being placed on the Rack and in the Black Vice that he's now out to kill someone....or maybe already has (hence the skull)
Although I would love alter of dementia for a deck like this, there is no foil copy available...as for Fecundity...I haven't come across a foil yet...but it is on my list of potential cards
Alright so this the deck I am most famous for, for a couple reasons. 1. Because the ENTIRE DECK is foil....even things like Karmic Guide, Pattern of Rebirth and Defense of the Heart. 2. Because its won me many many multiplayer games.
My rules for this deck are simple: Create a deck with only foils, and if the card cannot be foiled or easily accessible I refuse to put the card in the deck until I obtain a foil of that card. Also all the cards I have in the deck were less than $50 bucks at the time I purchased/traded for the card.
Let's get to the nitty gritty of what this deck can possibly do. The major win condition is a combo that revolves around 3 cards: Blasting Station + Karmic Guide/Sun Titan/Reveillark + Saffi Eriksdotter. This is autowin unless someone can disrupt the combo.
Clearly there are some cards left out, I just haven't managed to find a foil copy yet.
The deck itself is very resilient to Wrath effects due to Saffi's ability to get around wrath.
Believe me when I say this deck is powerful. If anyone has any questions or suggestions just let me know. Thanks for reading.
if Highborn's creature type changes, then you wouldn't be able to use it's ability. The way it is written, you will still be able to regardless of its creature type. That's my thought on the matter.
typically a signed card won't be worth any more than a regular card....if anything it causes the card to be worth less in the secondary market due to it no longer being mint. Signed cards tend to hold sentimental value over actual monetary value. I typically won't trade off my signed cards because they are more personal than just a regular card. Same goes for altered cards....people pay lots of money to have cards altered but in the end the card loses value because its no longer "mint" but increases in sentimental value and "coolness" factor
i know Volcanic Hammer is terrible, and I agree its absolutely garbage...but at the same time I kinda want to see it back in standard as it may mean the creatures may end up getting a tad weaker as well because of it....
also i have a playset of the foil Super Series Volcanic Hammer's which look really nice (even if the card sucks) i would love to play them anyways haha
Here's my vote for "Snow mana was a stupid idea that made no sense whatsoever." Why does frozen water sitting on top of land affect it's mana? Thank god they put that to rest. This is typical overextension of rationale.
it's to do with flavour. If i'm not mistaken, The Brother's War (between Urza and Mishra) caused an occurance called The Dark which resulted in a huge climate shift which led to the Fallen Empires and then later all hell froze over in Ice Age (and homelands/cold snap). Due to everything being frozen (from plains to forests) the only mana drawn from the plane had to have been a snowy-frozen mana source...ie. snow covered lands, artifacts and creatures producing snow mana.
Correct me if I'm wrong in that assumption. It just makes sense to me.
It doesn't matter how much power the troll has. He could be a 500/2 and still be taken down by the Legionaire.
Hope that helps.
I definately call Fake
