Objects on the stack resolve one at a time, not all at once. So after his last activation resolved, both players have another opportunity to activate abilities before Lightning Strike resolves, which he would likely do when he realized the Ooze would die if he didn't.
Yes, he will see everything else enter and trigger appropriately - Enchantments come in after everything else and wouldn't see anything else enter, but since Purphoros is a creature, he will enter with other creatures.
Zero value outside rares, and the only rare that really matters is the shockland - the rest can all be found for ~$2 or less. What happened to event decks with multiple Rancor or Burning-Tree Emissary?
Agent of the Fates will see Constructed play. That card is unreasonable. I could see a B/G midrange deck with Bow of Nylea, Agent, Desecration Demon, and Warrior's Lesson along with a boatload of removal and a couple beneficial auras - maybe Gift of Orzhova.
The Heroic mechanic as a whole impressed me, especially Agent and Wavecrash Triton. I also like how Heroic themed decks force more decisions; do I target my Agent with this spell to kill their worst creature, or do I target Triton to buy time against their best? It's more interaction than we've seen lately.
Great. Except the requirement for getting into the event is winning one of five premiere events. Which means it's easier to get into the PTQ than get this.
Winning the premier event just lets you play an exhibition match against a WotC employee. Anyone who ENTERS the premier event gets the promo. And it's going to apparently be a supported format a la Vanguard.
Being destroyed isn't the same as being unattached. The rule you quoted is referring to what would happen if the creature it's enchanting were to leave the battlefield, or gained protection from the color of the Bestow creature, etc.
Destroying a Bestow aura puts it in its owner's graveyard the same as destroying anything else would.
Is Nivmagus Elemental worth considering? Get your heroic triggers, then exile the spell for 2 counters. Especially great with Cipher/double strike stuff.
Akroan Horse has potential but even that one is pretty obvious.
Gift of Immortality can cause some funny things to happen, but in more of a synergy long-term way than a Johnny combo way.
If Titan of Eternal Fire was in standard with Thatcher Revolt and Battle Hymn, I'd think there could be something there, but alas.
Medomai the Ageless had potential, but they shut down any possible way to abuse it. If it had read something like "When ~ attacks, it can't attack again until your opponent takes a turn" it would have been awesome with Progenitor Mimic, but nope.
Pyxis of Pandemonium isn't abusable enough, but it's the closest thing we have so far.
They made him green red BECAUSE red doesn't get enchantment hate. Take away the enchantment distruction and green mana and you have a just as red of a creature as the elemental that blows up lands when it goes monster. And before you retort about pro-enchantments yada yada, they can stick pro-anything on anything and pro-enchant is perfect for red, "can't kill it, just run right on by".
However, the enchantment destruction requires green and nothing clashes with green by adding it so, in my opinion the card makes perfect sense. Ugly ass art tho yuck x10
So you're saying, if you take away all of his abilities, he could be red? So you would probably argue that Obzedat, Ghost Council would make sense in red too, if you took away the life drain and the flicker.
And you argue that Pro-enchantments makes sense in red...when it's already been clearly white until now.
(Liege's static abilities are the ones that give other creatures +`/+`. The other abilities are triggered.)
Abilities on the stack are independent of their source. So the card with still be exiled, and if it was a creature card, you'll still gain 1 life.
