So in order to continue trading on mtgs, should I create a new trade thread via the link in the quote? Should I just copy/paste my legacy trade thread content into the a new thread or link it? Seems like most of the new threads created after the move have been simple "I have these 10 things and I'm looking for 10 other things."

A new trade thread is good. That's the system we are moving towards and we have the old stuff still here mostly to give people the chance to copy/paste their stuff over. The likely reason they are simple is because most peoples' threads are typically simple and most of the older/bigger traders have inertia issues (myself included). It's all good so go nuts.

Gotcha. I'm in the camp that prefers to post everything they own. When I saw the first couple threads going up I wondered "Are we allowed to post our 1k+ collections with the new site?! What if someone wants my obscure cards from 10 years ago??" :p

Think the only other concerns/questions I have atm are "How do I just quote the post I'm replying to?" I noticed you only quoted mine, but when I click "Quote" to reply to yours it kept mine nested in there. Is there a simple way besides deleting my quote?

Concerning trader feedback, I assume that distinguishing from buyers/sellers/traders has just been reduced to 'trades'? jw.
And when I was submitting feedback, I greeted with "You can't post additional feedback within 5 minutes" or something of that nature. Understandly, I get that we can't post within 30 seconds. Just found it odd that in the situation where I was completeing multiple trades and submitting feedback, I had to wait to do so. food for thought.

Taking some time to get used to the new layout. Thanks Gals!

Every time I create a Sales thread, it disappears. If I follow the link, it says that my username marked it as spam.

"This thread was Marked as Spam by Lavatory Maniac. "

    Help?

    Example: http://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/market-street/sales-lot/541415-lavatory-maniacs-sales-thread

You need to use the new trade area - the forum trades are only for legacy posts http://www.mtgsalvation.com/trading-post/

"What?! I have to read FAQs and learn things again to function online?! Sweet Karona! Such BS." <--- my initial whining thoughts about new site.

Trades threads are cool. I imagine we just start a new thread for ourselves, list our wants, and then link our old trading thread in our new one? idk. What's cool is that if you hover the trade title, a small preview will appear in the left hand border. thought that was pretty neat.

Need to fix sigs, links and symbols.

@ aqua: similar problem here. While going through the e-mails, I actually ran into an old Curse account I had forgotten about.

I ended up just going to the 2 emails I use (1 current for personal use and the other is my spam dump) and typed in 'mtgs'. I get that "Happy B-day" so I could tell which email address my account was tied to. =)

And we'll just have to get used to the new layout. Can't say it's been running faster or slower now. I have a few trades going on, so finding my trade thread, making sure it's viewable in the new site's layout and then closing my pending trades is something I need to figure out this week.

Also my work computer is has A LOT of fun loading the borders of everyone's posts. aka it's not. =p can't tell where when begins and who's is who. =p Don't think it's suppose to be like that.

Gah! New site. Had to figure out which email address I was attached to. (Lappy keeps me logged in) =p

Wasn't able to play in the pre-release. Had to move, which btw went well. Clothes everywhere and need to start work again tomorrow. =p
Had an interview for another job and the career fairs went well to, so things are nice. I plan on going to the release event Friday night to get me some BNG goodies. Kekeke

This is where you had me, interested.

This is where you lost me. I refuse to play green mana arms crossed . I might make an exception with Kiora, but shh. :p

    Lol. I found this hiliarious.

I myself don't pull towards green either. And a while ago my friend pointed out that all my EDH decks had U in there. And I was like "So?"

I'd do the same thing OP. Let the other side know that certain cards have value and you are welcome to pull out more cards. In the end though, it boils down to 'if both sides are happy with the trade, then alright.'

    RTFC Digi. Isochron Scepter. =p

"If the copied card is a split card, you may choose to cast either side of the split card, but not both. The split cards Fire/Ice, Illusion/Reality, Night/Day, Stand/Deliver, and Wax/Wane all have at least one side with converted mana cost 2 or less.)"

With the new ones, fuse says only from your hand. =p

I'm sure some lucky employer will grab you up soon.
    How's moving working out?

Ya. It's just busy this week. Yesterday, I watched all of AoT (attack on titan) for the second time subbed, this time on Netflix. It's still as nuts as I remember. Then I decided to read the manga chapters up until the latest release (in which season 1 of the anime only covers the 1st 34 out of 53 manga chapters) and my head is exploding from all the nonsense that the author had made. And then I realized it was 10pm and I need to get my stuff together for career fairs (change of clothes, etc) and get my plan of attack for the next 2 days.

Also was thinking of how to transport my cards (everything I own) to my folks place in chunks instead of breaking my back and taking all the cards home at the same time. But I stopped and looked at my card collection and wondered if I needed ALL that cardboard... =p I'll be going through and taking what I wanna keep and dumping the rest. Need to cut the cord!

Moving out will be this Saturday. Met with my friends and they are traveling up the night before and we'll putz for the evening. Grab the UHaul in the morning and then move Saturday morning. I'm completely downplaying how much stuff I have (no furniture beside an Ikea bed frame, desk, and dresser). But I just need to take the time and pack my clothes and make things in stacks so I can easily move things to the truck or into one of our cars. Working today, but taking the rest of the week off to do the fairs, interviews, or pack.

I hate Blood Moon in Commander. It is the bane of my existence if it somehow sticks. At least you got to kill him in game two. With a Windfall to boot. What else was at the table letting someone playing Kresh have a blood moon stick, (aassuming it was the same guy using lots of basics or sources)?

Two seperate games. Numot played the Blood Moon in game 1 with a Jarad, Silver Queen, and Wrexial (me). SQ was hosed and did nothing. I had 2 Islands and nonbasics and had to tutor for a swamp, but Numot hit SQ and his triggers hit my basic swamps....sooooo THAT was fun. >_>

Game 2, going clockwise, was me (wrex), Kresh, Glissa, 'dumb Cleric Legend from Legends', and Mayael. Two of my non-magic friends showed up, but my pal (playing Kresh) and I wanted to get in 1 more game (we had played with Patron of the Orochi and Marath and THAT game lasted 2+ hrs). So I shuffled up Wrexial again and saw Mesmeric Orb in my starting hand. So I kept in the hopes of making things quick. =) Kresh hit mayael for general damage and he died. I Pongnify'd Glissa to slow him down and Glissa got Trident'd. =p That's where my previous story takes over.

About proxies: no problems if someone is trying to figure out a new deck or something. Hate them in EDH. Also, I recently found an old proxy of mine, which had written 'Money' on it. No idea what it stood for ...

    "Money". Lol.

Of the most recently made 2 EDH, Wrexial has at least 10 proxies, some of which am I currently trading for and others where I"m going to be obtaining in the future (i.e. Judge promo Bribery). I haven't proxied anything 'ridic' like Yawgoth's Will or degenerate, but I always make sure to annouce to the table that I have proxies and don't pee your pants when I play them =p

I also proxy cards that I own but don't have multiple copies of. I need another Kozilek for my 5color deck, but I'm not going out to get another one. =p If I at least have one or I'm planning to get actual copies of the card, I'll use proxes all day erryday.

I should be getting sleep, but staying up till 3am yesterday probably wasn't the best idea. Packing to move this coming Saturday, going to career fairs everywhere and being a lazy bum =p

I'll get you that Wrexial suicide mill EDH list eventually... =p Got hosed by Blood Moon in game 1. Then in the next game I successfully didn't die to a 29/29 Kresh with Surestrike Trident on it. But 3 people left on the board, had been completely milled and would lose at his draw step. I was at 15 life facing his 14 power of creatures on the board (one of each is Lyzolda, the Blood Witch). He can't kill me with Lyzolda because ALL his creatures are black (B or R) and he would lose by not drawing if he were to deal 2 damage to me. =p He swings at me making me mill with my own "mill 10" levithan I can't remember. I mill 10 and he sees my Consuming Abberation. He casts Rise from the Graves taking it, casts Essence Harvest to die all the damages to the 3rd player and he is left with 1 mana open unable to kill us both. =p He passes and I Windfall to kill him. Either do that or lose at his draw step. =p

Had fun and can't wait to play the deck some more.

Its hard to say, W/B flavour is mostly passed over on blocks, even compared to other enemy colour pairings.

The only time W/B's had any serious attention is the Orzhov or Shadowmoor's Gwinyllions.

These are my thoughts as well. Don't see much of the enemy color combos outside of when they are the focus of a set.

And also to go along with Rependent Vampire, don't forget Wayward Angel!

Ironic that I'd see a Braids deck pop up (I run Braids myself; compared to yours, more lands and less control elements).

I agree that the deck needs a form of card draw. Cuz you semi overextend or you commit your artifacts to the board and then your Mana doubler + Braids are gone and you gave each opponent a 'free' braids trigger. =p I'm actually inspired to look into more card draw myself after looking at your list. Again, Braids needs the card draw so we can actually dump things into play and then not die to the kickback.

Few cards that I run that differ from your list are:

Kira, Great Glass-Spinner - protects your fatties
Steel Hellkite - Pokes somene and
Tidesprout Tyrant - bounce their threats, also really dumb with Capsize
Blightsteel Colossus - "Deal with this or die!"
    Memnarch - 2x mana = steal your ****!
Inudate Bounce stuff. Also check out Wash Out. Untargetable bounce!
All is Dust - keeps your artifacts/eldrazi alive. Their stuff, not so much.
Vedalken Shackles - steal almost anything they put out.
Extraplanar Lens - braids wants more mana!
    Gauntlet of Power
Tezzeret the Seeker - Tezz and the below help tutor your fatties, mana doublers and whatever you need (Oblivion Stone for wraths for ex)
    Treasure Mage
    Fabricate

    - Helps get more lands in hand, and with snow-covered + Extraplanar lens, only your mana is doubled.

Got the deck put together for this weekend last night (while listening to this glorious AoT OST mix). Had most of the pieces and I'm proxing the rest. I'll put together a list of my stuff and post it here later this evening. =)

Next up! Blink "be a dick" Lavinia! Probably with Dovescape!

    -------------------

Also seems everyone else and their mothers are posting WUR Modern decks, so here's my last iteration of it:

    C. Flares for seeing Poison decks and Bant Hexproof. Shadows of Doubt to **** up your fetchlands (and tron land search + Pod searchs). If anything, test out Banefire. It's seriously REALLY fun. Got an opp at 8 and you are in late game? Burn em for 8 uncounterable! =D

Hugs! Hugs everywhere. Leave for a minute and the thread jumps 10 posts in under 2 hrs. Crazy ppl.

Gonna sleeve up Lavinia and Wrexial later tonight and hoping to get some matches/playtesting in this weekend. Proxing a few key parts and filling in the rest of my own machinations. I'll post up lists if anyone is interested.

Well first and foremost, thank you for reading it! I had a ton of fun writing it and each time someone says they really enjoyed it it brings a huge grin to my face and I get all warm and fuzzy inside :D.

EDIT: TO CLARIFY: Are you running Jeleva or a UB general as your commander? Red offers powerful options in terms of milling, but I haven't mentioned any below. Let me know if you're running Jeleva instead; I'd be happy to share some R, RU, and RB options that grixis mill has to offer.
As for prioritizing what to get first, Here'd by my top 5 on that list to get.

I'll be running Wrexial. And thanks for the feedback. Getting the essentials is the first step then tweaking the deck to suit my metagame while snagging the more pricier cards. That Judge Promo Bribery does look sweet though. =)

Had 3 fun games of EDH the other day. I played Marath vs Oloro and Heliod.

Game 1:I landed Assemble the Legion and Elspeth, Sun's Champion t4 and t5 while Heliod was derping on hitting land drops and Oloro was just gaining life. Ult with Elspeth, used Rootborn Defenses to protect against the wrath and swung with flying beats. =)

Game 2: Oloro lands a t4 Test of Endurance. He'll win next turn, but I have Qasali Pridemage I can still play and blow up the test before his upkeep. However, Heliod decided it be cool to not only play Angel of Jubilation but to not attack Oloro below 50 (he was at 52)... >_> fffffuuu! =p

Game 3: Heliod was played. He wrathed the board, dropped True Conviction and Crusade and miracles Entreat the Angels next turn. Can't stop double striking heliod! =p

3 games, each different winner. not bad. =)
