Well, I don't think News will die. Most people will follow blindly, so... I don't think this site will replace news. It will however compete with 'News as long as there are people willing to do it.
After reading his comments and R_E's comments, I can tell that it is Scott from Pojo. I remember looking at the Pojo site and reading his comments on cards, then he shamelessly promoted his Shuffle/Cut site. Sigh.. oh well time to move on to bigger and better things.
As I pointed out earlier, I didn't post on 'News much because I felt like it wasn't going in the right direction. And, it has been proven that they are willing to ban if you speak out against them.
I didn't find out until today what was happening because of just not realizing something might be going on.
