im playing my friend and we're having a disagreement about sorins final, he says that if i use sorins power i get to take a turn in place of his, but i think that i literally control his turn and play using his hand and tap his mana out etc. for one turn who is right?

Ok thanks, however the symbol is still not considered a red mana symbol it is considered a red/black mana symbol and the rule given states that anything that can effect a red mana symbol or be effected by a red mana symbol can also be effected by a hybrid that includes the red mana symbol correct?
if a card says, "creature gets +1/+0 until end of turn for every red mana symbol" does the red/black hybrid mana symbol count as a red mana symbol as well, according to the description or is the hybrid in a category of itself?
As lame as it sounds, its to settle a stupid debate.
How does first strike work when the first strike creature is being blocked by multiple creatures? If a 2/1 first strike is blocked by two 1/1's do they all die? or does the 2/1 first strike both of them? Please give good examples too if possible. thanks
Does double strike count as two different damage steps?
my friend attacked me with his Slivers, he had a Sliver that gave all slivers double strike along with Brood Sliver. My friend reasoned that double strike is two separate combat steps and since i was hit with both strikes he gets two tokens per sliver that double strike, is that valid?
i ask my oppoenet i am attacking are you going to do anything? and he says no. i declare attacker and i bump my creature up with its "pay B: creature gets +1/+1 until end of turn" he declares no blockers and plays Terminate on my creature, since i already declared attacker, does the damage still go through?
How does First Strike work when creature with First Strike is blocked by more than one creature? Does it still First Strike all creatures its being blocked by?
