Feb 3, 2014Techn0range posted a message on Launch Giveaway!I think one of my favorite cards is Cloudgoat Ranger. I've done extremely well with it in the past, both limited and constructed play. I have also made it a rule to first pick it in any cube draft, even over P9 cards.Posted in: Announcements

I guess I could try contacting Game Support, but is there anyone else I should try? Does anyone care?

I only have 1 sphinx but would add more and some evictions too maybe over the looting, not sure. My train of thought was more the ramp into blow up everything route and dig, dig, dig.
I'm not sure where I should be posting this, but I'm running into a malware issue found when using Google chrome and visiting the forums. I can only assume it's one of the ads as I've never had this problem before and it seems to happen sporadically.
It just started happening as I went to look up some rulings, then rumor mill, even while looking for the proper place to post this message. I tried other forums too, some would stay, some change within 2-3 min, and some just come up with this screen. This is why I assume it's the ad (and that I've never had this happen ever) but unfortunately I have not been able to witness this ad.
This is the message I am sometimes getting:

I am using Google Chrome Version 26.0.1410.64 m. I would like to know what's going on, but also hope that no one else happens along to catch anything not warranted. Any suggestions?
Another idea instead of making a big picture, use one dice to put a mana symbol on each side and either planeswalker symbol or mtg logo for the last side.
I saw this post and thought awesome idea. I went for a prism type look using the azorius guild symbol. Haven't printed it out yet, but here's the digital version.
So how do these look? Any suggestions?
I couldn't find a birth date, nor an address, so I just put unknown and his birth place. If anyone knows this info (or if my info is incorrect), let me know and I'll change it. The expiration is suppose to coincide with the birthday, so I just put that date as a goof.

I didn't know such a thread existed about making custom tokens, but I'm super excited to go through it. Within the past few months or so, I've started making my own tokens. Now I'm happy to share them with others.
Here are some spirit tokens, the first four of which are the ghosts from Pac-Man. I found an image (Ghost-names-pac-man-8970067-519-503) containing both their image and names and edited it in photoshop. I also wanted them in a background of the game. You can find this picture by searching "pacman Cropper Capture 18".
The last picture is of King Boo, featured in many of the various Mario Bros. video games. This particular picture is a deviant art by Mike Maynard (~dashal) and can be found by searching "King_Boo_by_dashal". By editing and layering a copy of the image in photoshop, I was able to make it look like it's coming out of the card.
Well, that's all for now, but I'll see if I can get some more up soon.
have out ZC (Zealous Conscripts) soul bonded to DN (Deadeye Navigator). tap GL (Gilded Lotus) add 3 blue mana. use 2 blue mana using DN ability on ZC. ZC enters battlefield target GL and DN triggers soul bond with ZC.
now you have the previous board state plus one blue mana. rinse and repeat for infinite mana of all colors. With all this mana you can proceed to use DN ability on ZC to take all your opponents permanents that can be targeted.
My opponent had a Champion of Lambholt and when I took it, I essentially blinked my ZC infinite times to give Champion infinite counters and swing infinite lethal.
The best though is holding Door to Nothingness and then you combo off. With infinite each color mana, you play door, blink ZC to untap it, then proceed to "door" them lol.
It does, but are boarding out your Unburial Rites too? Those target.
Also, not sure if I said this, but the GW player SB in Rest in Peace. I left maybe one or two Unburials, just in case, but put in all the creatures. He tried to bring back his Strangleroot Geist, lulz.
Also, I'm telling you Vault is ridiculous. Flyers are hard for this deck. Griselbrand, Angel of Serenity, 4/4 Angels, Sublime Archangel, etc. You've got 2 flyers, maybe SB Restoration Angel, and Fiend Hunters. Having Vault helps AND you've got Huntmaster tricks too.
I feel like disciple of bolas would be the best to play IF you wanted to play any of those. Most of the time, you're going to be blocking with your dudes against aggro or boardwiped against control, but digging always helps.

From my experience, knuckles29 is right. This deck is fine to play FNM or local tournaments, but not at such big events. Also Angel of Serentiy is guaranteed to be the most annoying card in standard as of right now. I mean I saw a LOT of 45 min game ONEs because this angel recurs another angel and/or Thragtusks. I also think my SB was off as it was a last minute thing.
In the Humans matchup, I tried to race game 1 as I drew my Vault but he dropped spectral flight and bird for enough exalted to get me. Game 2 he had early Champion and Paladin but I had my Abrupt to stop the double strike. I played more dudes, he stalls with Feeling of Dread and Moorland Haunt but then runs out. Game 3 I durdle while he goes Champion, Knight, Paladin and Feeling of Dread my blockers (yeah turn 4 kill).
In any aggro matchup, it becomes a hard game for you if they curve out. You need them to durdle (not do anything relevant, miss creature drops, etc) more than you do. I lost game 2 against zombies because I durdle and she went T1 Diregraf T2 Rancor, T3 Messanger.
The UW Miracles was an interesting game. He was playing Seraph Sanctuary, which made game one last about forever. I mean I got him to 3 then miracle back up to 19. However, I got up to 58 thanks to Vault. There were board wipes and planeswalkers to go through as well. Jace makes your attack smaller and your bigger guys like Falkenrath just get Det. Sphere or Tamiyo tapped.
The reanimator matchup can come down to who can dig faster, but in the long run they have better targets (Angel Serenity, Griselbrand). Lingering Souls can also be annoying.
I feel Midrange are the easiest matchups for this deck. Unburial Thragtusk/Huntmaster to last longer until you hit Angel value town.
Overall the deck is still fun to play, but not something I'd recommend for like major tournaments and such. Early aggro and double strike is really annoying, but not as much as late game Angel of Serenity. I was able to go inifinite one time. I was so happy when I saw I could do it, my opponent noticed it as well but I still went through the motions to explain and he scooped.
