posted a message on F Around // Find Out
If you discard a card with converted mana cost 3 or less from the first effect, can you not then cast it with the second effect?

    That's synergy.
Except the discard is random, so you can't plan on discarding the card you want to cast with the other half.

Additionally, F Around would open up ground to run Crack the Earth in a split with it.
Except that Crack the Earth is a terrible card, so no one would want to run 1 of them, let alone multiples of it.
... and the intuitive hybrid color combinations ...
Your hybrid version makes no sense. Hybrid cards should work as an card if printed with any of the individual possible casting costs, and 1BW to cast an instant or sorcery from a graveyard isn't anywhere close to in color for that combination.
Detonate might be re-workable as: (You may cast both faces of this card for its Detonate cost. If you do, stack the front face overtop the back face.)
Basically, you've mad an overly complicated Fuse card. There's no reason for this to be a DFC when both halves are instant/sorcery cards; MDFCs are only needed when at least one side is a permanent.
I think another adaption moving forward for this will be to switch up the colors for the Detonate cost. I originally wanted red at the center, and I think it really needs that; despite the current meaning was supposed to symbolize that it's good for someone no matter what the outcome.
Again, it doesn't make sense unless all casting costs/modes are in color and 1RR with the untap 2 lands isn't in color for red.

EDIT: I'm not sure you understand the source meme, where the application of has become an idiom.

That expression has been around since long before that guy posted that video.

There's kind of a big history of white western fantasy taking whatever the hell concepts it likes from nonwestern, nonwhite cultures and religions and just doing whatever the hell they want with it

While factually correct, it's intellectually dishonest to put the words "nonwestern" and "nonwhite" etc in front, because this isn't specifically something that happens when western fiction adapts nonwestern mythology. Elves, dwarves and goblins are all vastly different from what they are in original mythology and folklore (across works of fiction, not just talking about MtG here). Same with many creatures from greek mythology.

Yes, it's true that it happens, but it's not specific to western culture adapting non-western mythology for fictional purposes. It also happens the other way around.

It's just a normal thing that happens. Whether or not that's a good thing and whether or not Wizards is right in avoiding doing that is another issue entirely, but wording it like it was done here is just intellectually dishonest.
The difference being that elves/goblins/dwarves aren't part of a living and practiced religion as Rakshasa are a part of Hinduism.

And not comment on the other suggestions?

Have it target, or simply [If a card is exiled].

Similar effects like Fact or Fiction don’t target, so this shouldn’t either.

The effect should be correctly worded as

(When you cast this spell, you may have an opponent look at your hand and exile a card from it. When they exile a card this way, draw three cards then discard two cards.)

and for heroes we know by default we will get atleast iron man, captain America, spider man, hulk, most members of X-men. Also these heroes main allys/sidekicks/villains

Given the Sony licensing things around Spider-man, there’s always some semblance of a chance he may not make it
Sony only has film rights, Marvel Comics can license Spidey (and anyone else) to anyone they want for games

posted a message on Draft Boosters and Set Boosters are being replaced by Play Boosters
Important to note that they are targeting the same price point as current set boosters, so expect draft prices to go up at a ration comparable to the difference between draft and set packs at your LGS

posted a message on Bleach Cards
With the other poster doing One Piece, I started thinking about cards for Bleach. It seemed like DFCs would be a good way to represent the character's weapons (if you're not familiar, the antagonists all have swords with spirits in them that grant the powers, and the strongest characters can release a extremely powerful version of that sword's abilities). Since the ways these abilities all manifest are different, it was interesting to try to design equipment all on the front and a varied ability on the back.

EDIT: I got the text exported

    Zabimaru 2BG
    Legendary Artifact — Equipment (R)
    Equipped creature has reach.
Whenever equipped creature deals damage to a blocking creature, Zabimaru deals that much damage to each other creature defending player controls.

    ---Other Side---
    So-oh Zabimaru
    Legendary Artifact — Equipment
Equipped creature has reach, trample, and “T: Put a +1/+1 counter on this creature. It fights up to one target creature an opponent controls.”
Whenever equipped creature deals damage to a blocking creature, Zabimaru deals that much damage to each other creature defending player controls.
    Equip 2

    Suzumibachi UB
    Legendary Artifact — Equipment (R)
Whenever equipped creature blocks or becomes blocked by a creature with a hit counter on it, destroy that creature and remove the equipped creature from combat.
Equipped creature has provoke and “T: Put a hit counter on target creature. Activate as a sorcery.”
    Equip UB
    ---Other Side---
    Jakuho Raikoben XWBB
    Sorcery
Destroy target non-land permanent with mana value X. Its controller sacrifices a number of permanents equal to its mana value.

    Tenken RG
    Legendary Artifact — Equipment (R)
    Equipped creature has trample.
If equipped creature would deal damage, it deals twice that much damage instead.
    Equip 3
    ---Other Side---
    Kokujo Tengen Myo'o 6RG
    Artifact Creature - Warrior
    Trample, indestructible
Kokujo Tengen Myo’o cannot be blocked by creatures with power 2 or less.
Whenever a source deals damage to Kokujo Tengen Myo’o, put a -1/-1 counter on it.
    8/8

    Sakanade WU
    Legendary Artifact — Equipment (R)
    Equipped creature has first strike.
Whenever equipped creature blocks or becomes blocked, you may switch the base power and toughness of each creature blocking or blocked by it. Those creatures lose first strike and double strike and cannot gain first strike or double strike this turn.
    Equip UB
    ---Other Side---
    Sakashima Yokoshima Happo Fusagari 5R
    Sorcery
Goad all creatures. (Until your next turn, that creature attacks each combat if able and attacks a player other than you if able.)
Until the end of your next turn, creatures must block if able.

posted a message on Saga Variants
    Quote from Pokerkingdave »
i think you should change the wording to Old-Growth Troll and Tom Bombadil instead of "do not put into your graveyard".

"When the final chapter of this saga triggers, return it to the battlefield as an enchantment with" "" .
The problem is then it would just start its Saga chapters all over again. You’d need additional text to make it lose its abilities, plus you’d be retriggering enchantress abilities so that would push the cost up too.

posted a message on Contract Enchantment Cycle
You gotta get better at wording your cards, because they don't work the way you want them to.
    Contract of Magicians U
    Enchantment
If at least two players have cast an instant or sorcery spell this turn, you may exile Contract of Magicians. If you do, each of those players may flip a coin. Each player that wins his or her flip creates a clue token.
At the end of turn, if Contract of Magicians is exiled, you may put it on the top of your library.
CARD: Hey, I see you guys have both cast instants, you wanna exile me now?
YOU: No, I wanna use the effect later.
CARD: Okay. By the way, since ya'll both cast instants, would you like to exile me now?
    YOU: I just said no.
CARD: No problem. Also, you've both cast some instants, would you like to exile me?
YOU: No dammit, stop asking me!
CARD: I can't. I'm badly worded so that I create a choice you have to answer as long as a certain game state exists. Also - and I don't know if you know this - ya'll both cast instants this turn, so would you like me to exile myself?
YOU: Why am I even playing this card?....

Bad wording aside, why bother with the coin flips? Just have the effect happen, though probably reducing some of the numbers of tokens.

The green one is the only one that can never be triggered by more than 2 players (unless its a 2 headed giant game) but all the others could potentially effect 3 or 4 players if they set themselves up.

Also, the recursion is just silly and would make the card need to cost more than 1 mana.

Here's a actual version of these cards that work.

    Contract of Magicians U
    Enchantment
At the beginning of the end step, if at least two players cast an instant or sorcery spell this turn, you may exile Contract of Magicians. When you do, each of player that cast an instant or sorcery spell this turn investigates.
At the beginning of the end step, if Contract of Magicians is exiled, you may put it on the top of your library.
