Thanks for the advice. The Oracle, indrik, and ziggurat are going into the deck (i feel silly for forgetting the oracle, he's pretty good).. The other things are out of budget or do things that my deck already does imo.
This is a deck with lots of 1-toughness artifacts that i can reanimate with clamping a retriever or a junk diver, or with Academy ruins. I draw lots of cards, recur Triskelion, and get Mishra out to gain "2-for-1" board advantage. I'd like to play this in multiplayer because killing my own guys with little to no removal won't last for long. I'm considering Oblivion Stone for wrath since it will be a multiplayer deck. However, i feel like this deck is very one-dimensional and in need of support. I might make it mono-blue to keep it simpler (or if i have the money, white for ajani and reveillark). Any advice would be appreciated.
[QUOTE=kcirbmab;/comments/3729037]Maybe some creatures similar to Balefire (cheaper $ ones) would be good?QUOTE] Agrus Kos pumps all your white and red guys. You could go soldier tribal and get guys like Field Marshal. If you're going to use equipments, use ones that help you connect with the enemy, such as loxodon warhammer or Whispersilk Cloak. You could try creating more synergy with the 4x of Sunforger with things like To Arms!, Holy Day, Incinerate, Lightning Bolt, Condemn, and such. Bull Cerodon and Cerodon Yearling would also be good. anyways, best of luck with the deckbuilding.
You have some really nice cards in this deck! i have friends who would kill for a double Maelstrom Pulse. but anyway... Fallen Ideal, Dread Return, Sporoloth Ancient, Creakwood Liege, Putrefy, and Thelon are your friends here. Overall you have a nice deck. Go beat your friends with it
I would run playsets of the Tidehollow Strix, Esper Stormblade, Tower Gargoyle and Ethersworn Shieldmage, and maybe add Oblivion Rings. Sen Triplets looks like an excellent and brutal finisher. Having 3 Sphinx sovereign with only 22 lands and no acceleration seems hard to pull off. Just some ideas, hope it was helpful. Good luck with deck improvement.
P.S. I'm a Brainstorm fan, but Ponder is cheaper and easier to come by.
(There may be a deck similar to this already posted, in which case i apologize in advance) accelerate, swarm, gain massive card advantage, turn guys sideways, and win. Comments and ideas on improvement are more than welcome, though i'd like to keep any improvements semi-budget, as i haven't built/tested this deck yet and need to buy most of these cards.
edit: i might cut the simulacrums, they're a little too pricey for me. any suggestions for a replacement?
Video Games:
Warcraft III- my favorite RTS. has custom games/user-created content, and the actual game isn't half-bad.
Guild Wars- an MMORPG I play on and off. lots of things to do, not grind-focused, very social, and no monthly fees.
Diablo 2- what i played before Guild Wars. more grind-focused, very repetitive and less social, but it was a blast.
Do you own any game consoles? opens up more video game possibilities.
Do you play an instrument? Music can be a cool way to teach yourself a skill, and can be social in the form of jam sessions and starting a band. Not for all, but I have fun with it and would reccomend it.
I don't know what else to say, other than that moving sucks, I did it alot as a kid. Best of luck with combatting boredom in a way inferior to Magic (jk).
Bob is walking down the sidewalk, and he notices an old lady trying to cross the street. Bob, being the nice guy he is, goes over and drop-kicks a kitten into traffic, causing a lot a damage since that kitten was made with nuclear wastes, causing the EPA to come and arrest him. Bob, not wanting to be arrested, decides to fight back by summoning a flock of rabid pigeons to his aid. Amidst the confusion, Bob manages to escape to Chilondoscow, until he realizes that that is not a real place outside of AT&T ads. This revalation causes him to do stand up comedy with bob dole at kazahkstan which was a few miles away from some very scary things, including a large creature which looked exactly like an old lady; the very same old lady that tried to cross the street ealier. She went on a rampage, destroying downtown Tokyo, until Bob stepped in to save the day! Using his Nuclear Waste Kitten, he played monkey in the middle with which helped the old lady to destroy tokyo and make everything look like cheese. But then the Japanese government called in Keanu Reeves, who shot Bob repeatedly in bullet time. Once this was done he flew back to Hollywood to shoot Matrix 4. Literally and figureatively.
Back in Tokyo, as Bob lay on the ground dying, the Twilight Shepard flew down and gave him a second chance at life. As the Twilight Shepard flew away, Bob yelled, " ... and i didn't need to put in four more quarters!"
I feel like you have a very unique style... it's off the mark sometimes for one reason or another but when you do something well (which you usually do) it's just fantastic. From a critic's point of view, i think you do inanimate things better than people/creatures (the swirly vortex dagger and the shinto gate are cool). I like to draw myself, but i'm awful at it. Just keep trying to improve your form. I noticed that you use colored pencils, which aren't bad, but most other people use sharpies and paint markers and it seems to work for them. Keep up the good work!:)
