Rules question. Sorry in advance if this has been posted before, I did an extensive search and couldn't find an answer.
I have an active Pyromancer's Ascension in play with 2 counters. My opponent casts Chalice of the Void set at either 1. I play something like Serum Visions. The original copy gets countered, does the 2nd copy resolve with no CMC or does it retain a CMC of 1 and get countered also. Thank you!
I really enjoy playing Geth too. It's definitely geared more towards multiplayer games, strictly for the fact that there's a higher probability of more juicy targets for Geth to reanimate in other player's graveyards. Your deck is definitely solid. Zombie tribal does eliminate some awesome creatures like
Royal Assassin
Ink Eyes - sooo good
Shriekmaw
Avatar of Woe
Nirkana Revenant
Gatekeeper of Malakir
Kalitas, Bloodchief of Ghet
etc...
You need Graveborn Muse in there asap. Zombie Phyrexian arena on a stick = yes please!
The tradeoff is that you're seen as more of a casual deck and have less of a target on your head.
Ghost Council was my first EDH deck and still my favorite. I love the whole theme of recursion and evasion in the deck. W/B has some of the most powerful effects in the format; tutors and wrath effects are just amazing. I really like some of your suggestions. Here are a few of my own personal choices:
You're missing a few clutch lands:
-Kjeldoran Outpost is one of the best token generators ever. It's especially good if you're running 10+ plains
-Reflecting Pool is a great mana fixer
-Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth needs to be in there also
-Ancient Tomb should be in every EDH deck for acceleration
For creatures:
-Wurmcoil Engine is sick
-Necrotic Ooze can get insanely good in a deck composed of wrath effects
-Bane of the Living is an option for mass removal
-Reassembling Skeleton is very good recursion as a Ghost Council chump
-Weathered Wayfarer is great for land advantage/land tutoring
-Serra Ascendant is gamebreaking in 1v1 if it's in your opening hand. It will get hated out pretty quicky in multi-player though.
-Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni absolutely needs to be in this deck
-Puppeteer Clique is a solid choice. Persist makes it especially good with Ghost Council
Other solid choices:
-Land Tax is unbeliveable good at thinning and card advantage
-Mimic Vat has the potential to be utterly broken in this deck
-Mana Crypt should be included in every EDH deck not on a strict budget
-Armageddon
I personally favor the board control version. If you nuke the board and follow up with a Desolation Angel or an Armeggedon (provided you have some kind of creature recurrsion on the board) it's usually game ending. I'm going to take serious look at the equipment package though. I'm leery of using Lightning Greeves or Whispersilk Cloak though because they negate Ghost Council's blink ablity if someone tries to kill him at instant speed or during their turn. Stonehewer Giant seems like a great addition as do some of your other choices like Prison Term, Return to Dust, and Overwhelming Forces.
Thanks for all your work and I hope my suggestions help!

Some notable additions that would power up the deck:
Hatred - NEEDS TO BE IN THERE. Paying 16 life to swing with an intimidating Geth = win.
Dark Ritual - pumps out Geth and shenanigans 2 turns early
Damnation
Beseech the Queen - if allowed
Diabolic Tutor - if allowed
Liliana Vess - if allowed
Bloodchief Ascension - this card is a beating in multi games
No Mercy - you'll live a lot longer
Pestilence
Phyrexian Totem
Jet Medallion
Thran Dynamo - such good acceleration
Gilded Lotus
Mind Stone
Ancient Tomb
In my version I run a lot more spot removal. I've honestly never been let down by it and I'd much prefer it to having a bunch of creatures. I find it fits well with Geth's grave-robbing ability too. That's mostly a preference though. Some good choices are:
Hero's Demise
Snuff Out
Executioner's Capsule
Tendrils of Corruption
Rend Flesh
Doom Blade
Reckless Spite
Seal of Doom
Elfblight's Ending
Hope that helps!
