4x Wall of Reverence
4x Baneslayer Angel
This is a must for any life gain deck. I know they Baneslayers are expensive; but it is the best lifegain card in the format. Even with running 4 DOJ; they are still the way to win.
WBr ManaBarbs and life gain spells is the way to go.
Barbs is easily splashable because of the single red mana CC
Hold out until they eventually kill themselves.
4x Mana Barbs
2x Sanguine Bond
4x Day of Judgement
1x Oblisk of Alara
2-4x Baneslayer Angel as a finisher
4x Wall of Reverence
4x Soul Warden
1x Sorin Markcove
3x Ajani Goldmane
4x Intimidation Bolt
4x Path to Exile (doesn't matter if they have more land. More land = more damage!)
4x Vampire Nighthawk
4x Child of the Night
That is just some of the cards I can think of that would be neat in this type of deck.
The only problem is there may be stronger cards to abuse like Ob Nixilis...
If you really want to use the card, this is probably the best way to go
What is your land base like?
The hardest part about playing Bant, is getting the land right.
The boarder posts are a great way to get some budget mana fixing in.
Also look at the new uncommons like Graypelt Refuge. Multi-coloured lands for cheap!
While Llanowar Elves can provide some acceleration; I don't think they are the right fit in this deck. You should look for something that can find more than just green mana.
Try Khalni Heart Expedition out. Or even Harrow. It would be a sacrifice to use your 2nd or 3rd turns to drop one of those cards mentioned; but if you can't play an aggressive exalted creature turn 2/3, you might as well power out something stronger the next turn!
Good luck
It was doing really great; until I played this Elemental Aggro deck; that droppped 8/8 Fusion Elementals on turn 3!! Then started pumping those out every turn! I just couldn't keep up to that power...
Hey guys!
Just a shout out from an old member
I recently dusted off the old d20 and popped by an FNM; so I figured I better stop by MTGsalvation for some news! Glad to see you guys are all active!
Anyways; hi again!
The first couple cards that came to mind were the following....
Think we could see a W/x deck for abusing this guy?
There is also Emeria, the Sky Ruin for recycling in case the combo breaks.
Anything else?

Combo? Heck no.
It's nice in a situation where you need a flying blocker; and you have the mana to spare; but it is not something that will win you the game.
Just kidding Franky.
Forgotton Caves seem like a great addition.
Going with the burn theme, Fire // Ice seems like a good choice.
Lots of saprolings that start getting pretty big; pretty fast.
Pumping out a 5/5 creature that is immune to terror and can deal with fear is nice.
I am going to splash some black for the Liege and Maelstrom Pulse in this deck.
I'm also considering Nath of the Gilt-Leaf and Lord of Extinction for nice synergy all around.
Very sexy with a sweet mana cost.
We will have to see what other zombies enter the format!
Hope you guys don't mind me posting a bit in here *wink*
Right now at FNM i'm playing a GW deck.
4x Birds of Paradise
4x Kitchen Finks
4x Troll Ascetic
4x Wilt-Leaf Cavaliers
2x Wilt-Leaf Liege
4x Chameleon Colossus
4x Safehold Elite
2x Thornling
2x Path to Exile
3x Oblivion Ring
2x Wrath of God
Pump it up!
3x Loxodon Warhammer
1x Garruk Wildspeaker
2x Elspeth, Knight-Errant
8x Plains
11x Forest

I was going to say hi to him but I don't see him anywhere on this thread?
May the world rejoice!
