May 29, 2019A few years ago, I ran a Collected Company version of the deck with value 3 drops, and Renegade Rallier. The deck was good, but not fast enough. I’m not the best brewer in the world though, so effects like this could probably be very powerful in the right hands.Posted in: Aggro & Tempo
May 24, 2019I know no one visits this thread anymore and we can’t talk about spoilers, but... I just have a feeling we are gonna get a card to deal with Planeswalkers, and that card could also gain us a life under normal circumstances. It would be a gift of generosity from WOTC... It will probably also hit lands, but I can’t confirm this yet. It will help massively in our most troublesome matchups.Posted in: Aggro & Tempo
May 24, 2019It slots well into paths 5-6 for hatebears/D&T (decks running Leonin Arbiter. It’s also decent against Aggro decks that don’t want lands or decks that don’t run a lot of basics, which is basically the top 5 decks. I’d gladly give a Pheonix player a land for a TitI/Phoenix. Overall, I think it was designed first as a card for limited/EDH, and then everything else.Posted in: The Rumor Mill
May 22, 2019@Legend & @AtraxianShade: wtf? Dude, the fact that it looks like a photoshopped photograph should tell you how great the art is. It’s almost photorealistic, and yet it’s hand-painted. Leave the bath salts alone!Posted in: The Rumor Mill
I can’t understand the people bashing the art. I understand the shade thrown because she doesn’t look Kor, but damn, that is a sweet piece of art.
May 9, 2019Gideon Blackblade is gonna be a test card for my Humans/Soul Sisters deck. Triggers the Sisters and Champion of the Parish / Thalia’s Lieutenant. That -6 probably won’t be much of a factor, but giving a Champion or Pridemate vigilance / indestructible seems sweet.Posted in: Aggro & Tempo
He’ll eat a few Trophies or Paths, but then allow a turn 4 Archangel.
Mar 29, 2019I took this bad boy from the Soul Sisters Facebook page and wanted you guys to see it.Posted in: Aggro & Tempo

I obviously haven’t playtested it, but it looks sweet. The creator has been playing it on MTGO, and has an insane win percentage. What do you think?
EDIT: left out Thalia and Auriok Champ...
Mar 22, 2019I wasn’t suggesting to cut fetches, lol. I just didn’t like the interaction with those and Martyr/Ascendant in MY deck. The Shocklands do more damage than fetches, most times. I also question whether the Martyr/Ascendant Package is good in anything besides MonoW, since it’s based on having white cards in hand. Do some real play testing before making any drastic changes based on suggestions. I’ve been wrong a lot, and I am probably wrong now lol.Posted in: Aggro & Tempo
EDIT: Socklands, lawl
Mar 12, 2019I actually suggested Tribunal a page or two ago, for those of us who still run Oring as a 1 of.Posted in: Aggro & Tempo
I get where you’re coming from on Marshal because I’ve been running a Humans Package and considered him for my deck also. If you’re having trouble casting her, your mana might be the problem. You could either go up on lands, or drop her by 1. Running her as a 3 of with only 22 lands could be the trouble.
@Ulka, I usually don’t bother removing Bloodghast against dredge. It’s a constant trigger for us, easy to block, and once we stabilize it can’t defend.
Mar 11, 2019When Archangel hits, she usually wins the game. If anything, I’d drop marshal for the Processions.Posted in: Aggro & Tempo
You seem to have the sideboard pretty well figured out, so how about being more specific? Only thing I noticed is you have no artifact/enchantment destruction, so you’re doomed if you face a Chalice / Worship / Bridge deck.
