She/He/It seems creepy enough it their own right to be memorable. Add the leopard print, the gun, and what seems to be glasses in their mouth, and you have a scaring avatar. 7/10.
To be honest, I love this idea! Like many have said. If you like the casual feel of the current format, then continue to play with others who feel the same way. However, with the right amount of regulation and support from WotC. I think EDH has the potential to be one of the most popular formats out there.
I say everyone keeps their pants on and just waits it out till we have something real to base our thoughts on. Any time Wotc leaks something (usually next to nothing) everyone loses their mind speculating about what it could be. Yes, I know this is the rumor mill and by definition that is what is to be expected. But there is no reason to go crazy and bicker like everyone always does. Especially since it usually ends up being something completely different than anyone assumes. Just chill and we will find out everything in time.
I can't see it happening. It would be too powerful being that it would guarantee landfall every turn, which would turn the drawback of the card into a bonus.
But it gives you a choice. Right now we have a bounce at 2U and a cancel at 1UU if we combine those we free up to 4 slots in a deck. Neither of them cost more than three so UUU would be fair. I see no reason not to do this?
Would it be better to make it a charm and add "or draw 2 cards"??
NeoBlue Charm UUU
Choose one - Counter target spell; return target permanent to it's owner's hand; or draw 2 cards.
This seems possibly too good...BUT I WOULD SURE LOVE IT!!!!
I'm not a rules junkie so how exactly are cards exiled generically? Face up or face down? Because if they are generically removed face up, you could keep doing it over and over (up to 4 times). You would hope with that much deck set up you would have the win by then. The cards 5 cc doesn't help either but still. I'm just trying to look at the card from all angles, because I just can't believe they would make a rare that is so seemingly bad.
I think M10 Duals is a bad idea because they could easily reprint the current ones in M11 and also print the enemy duals as well. So because of this I think....
I really do dislike that you can shove your unlocked cards into the premade decks you play with, but you cannot remove old cards in their place, you just have to pile singles on top of your 60 card deck and you have no input on the amount of lands or anything.
Totally! It's really starting to piss me off! I spent 10 mins trying every button to remove certain cards.
So this might already been thought of (I didn't read every post) but what does everyone think of the possibility that the new dual lands will require you to reveal cards from your hand. It would be a draw back yes, but not a loss of life.
