Ascetic and Stalker dual-guild benefits have been tweaked. Go forth and do things with your own pets! Or don't, whatever.
The Inquisitor and Seeker benefits have been tweaked like they should have been back with the rest of the peacekeeper revamp. Whoops. Not much of a change, mostly some rewording and the purchasable stuff is a bit better now.
The Artificer benefits were changed as well! Any preexisting field inhibitors can remain but they are no longer a dual-guild benefit. We instead changed the machinists to specifically allow material substitution (within reason). Since there are plenty of weak metals (like silver), the machinist metal thing is no longer a major issue. So artificers can instead work a bit of magic into their machines... Also, weird science changed. It's not like the former benefit had ever come up ever anyway.
Arl - "You did!" **Turns to address the others** "Okay, we've been rushing, let's go over the whole thing one more time. You're going to fake my death with a lizard heart and some hair or something to both get paid and get this woman to move on with her life. You also want the research notes from the lab - why do you want them?"
**Arl wonders, for just a moment, why she's having trouble breathing.**
Cee - "WHAT?! Why would you-"
Arl - **Deep breath** "Cee, wait. Colt, do you mean you were hired to kill me, or some mystery lizard monster that turned out to be me all along? It was the second one, right? Colt Wyrmbane, the dragonslayer?"
Arl - "I don't have a way to dismember myself... I have some research notes from the arena if you're interested in that kind of thing? I think I should just go see this-."
Cee - "Arl, why don't we just char some lizard's heart and stick your hair in it? That should work, right?"
Arl - "No. Hold on-" **A tattoo forms on the girl's body, replacing the insides of her mouth with a howling void. The girl quickly fetches a dagger from the space.**"This is the earth key, I can open a vault in the earth but I'd need a more natural place than this road to do it. Also, can you tell me more about this woman's husband?"
**Arl does not resist, but Colt finds surprisingly little on her person.. virtually nothing besides some gold and a watch made of silvery bones. None of it seems like it will work.**
Arl - "But, if I'm being framed for killing-"
Cee - "What if it was one of the slavers, Arl? You should pull out the earth key and check the vault."
Arl - "Oh- if that's the case.. um.. I don't have anyway to heal myself.. hrm..a trophy.. wait, wouldn't she find out I'm alive later?"
**Jougo finds that there is, in fact, a bell next to the massive gate leading into Piranos Dhraws' lavish estate. Pressing it apparently sets off a series of music boxes built into the wall. Several glowing sentences appear on the gate as well, all of them are reminders concerning how one should conduct themselves in the presence of high nobility...**
Arl - "I was going to see if Ollie - the old peacekeeper that originally trained me a few years ago - had already left for Javert and Greta's place. He suggested I come along last time I saw him."
Arl - "I don't think you're that old Colt. Aaand.." **Walks over to Colt's massive sword and tries to pick it up.** "I think you're - ?huh? - still in pretty good shape!"
**The girl tries once more before realizing the sword is magically slipping out of her grip.**

**Arl starts heading towards Jougo.
Meanwhile, the gate opens as a very tired looking servant calls out after the duo moving away from the manor.**
Servant - "Sirs? Are you here to speak with our majestic, handsome, charismatic lord?"
Arl - "Okay! It's this way~"
**She leads the trio to Beige Street.**

Arl - "You're staying!? I mean, we can travel together again?"
