Aynat - "Found a bracelet. Why would they dump this?"
**She passes the bracelet to Kherren - he had the nose after all - before checking out the hay. Hrm.. cobwebs too. The woman makes a mental note to try luring a gang here sometime.**
**While crossing the ravine, Darby notices three petrified eggs on a landing on the group’s side of the ravine (about six feet below the top of the opening).
Dr. Smalls tries to right the bridge itself while Tratorious summons some plant vultures to help Darby do something with the cables.
Esyllt likewise summons a pair of plant spiders, the creatures spinning amber webs as needed.**
**The water thankfully isn't very deep. At the swamp's edge, anyway. The group soon finds an old sign pointing towards "Jed's Swamp Boats"**
Cee - "Arl's been trying to tone it down since you left."
Arl - "It hasn't been working out very well though. I got forced by an elven god to free some other ones, ran into two serial killers, got attacked by a random pirate ship, bandits, ..."
**The group sees Jed's Swamp Boats in the distance.
A spiderweb as been spun over the open door, and dust covers every part of the unkempt shack. A lone boat is docked in the adjacent swamp waters.**
Arl - "Well, the reptiles we're looking for probably live in the deeper swamp waters so I suppose we should see if there's anyone nearby with a boat we can borrow?"
The tunnel eventually opens up into a sizable cavern that appears to have been reinforced with crystalline pillers rising up out of a large ravine running through the center. The large, 30’ wide, magma-filled ravine. At least the magma is a good 70’ below the group. There is an iron cable bridge as well! One of the cables has snapped and the other doesn’t seem to be in very good shape, but it’s something!
**She also thought better of what she was going to ask next. Although maybe her companion's reflection would help explain things? If her own reflection cared, anyway.**
Tanya - "It's not that I think we'll have any problems bringing her back. But it would be better if we do it in a way that doesn't make her want to escape into another fantasy." **Runs her fingers through her hair** "I don't know what I would have done if I'd encountered a mirror like this after my family - but if I had it and lost it I might have just tried to find another item like it, does that make sense?"
Tanya - "Oh! So what sort of emotional connections has she made then? People she left behind whose feelings she might care about, dreams she's had, anything that might help us convince her to come home."
Tanya - "So Fora is also her reflection? I was going to ask you what sort of emotional connections she's made since her parents died but her opinion on those would differ, wouldn't they?"
**The flame connection unnerves the woman at first, but it fades. Her reflection is rather serious looking, isn't she? Heh.. encountering Fire!Tanya (?Aynat?) would actually be pretty neat, except for the bit where there's a young child on the other side of this mirror.**
Tanya - "My reflection looks dangerous. What happens when we enter the mirror? Would our reflections appear in Fora's world as well?"

Arl - "... I think I might be cursed."
Any experts on reptiles among them would know this to be in the group's favor; alligators and the like tend to be nocturnal, after all.**
Start of this whole quest here: <how it all began>
Also, the ceiling is only 15’ above the ravine.
**Yack grasps the orb**
Tanya - "...okay?"
**She also thought better of what she was going to ask next. Although maybe her companion's reflection would help explain things? If her own reflection cared, anyway.**
Tanya - "So, shall we get started?"
