GG: I somehow missed your post. Anyway, I sent you a PM! Also feel free to check the aim as well, etc, etc. Stuff is still happening, with something particularly big scheduled for late December / early January.
If leaving you in the etc causes you to post I may need to do that more often.
I think I rp'd more with you in the Zombie Sharpshooter days than in nEW - I'd be glad to have you back again, maybe change that? Also, the aim waters are very nice this time of year!
Udo and MK, still active. (I know Udo is still around, just doesn't have anywhere to post atm)
Acelin, Acelin-level active.
Do we.. ah... have anyone else? I'd really just like ETAs*, it's fine if people are still tied up this month but hearing nothing from anyone is worrisome.
*ETA of time until next ETA, at least. Obviously people might not know exactly when they won't be busy anymore.
**Passing by the boat gave the group a closer look at the body; still no obvious cause of death.
The source of the thrashing soon becomes apparent, at least, when the group glimpses an alligator about 70' away. The boat is currently not on a course to cross paths with the creature (or even float near it).**
Cee - "Is it.. attacking a tree?"
Y'know, the group has a couple ways they could be looking about in the dark, but which one are they actually using?
**Yack once again summons and Adrobaphant, which runs up to the last shadow to see how it reacts.
Cassie, almost balancing on the orb at this point in an effort to touch it while everyone else was touching it, tries to imagine little light treats shooting out and leading the shadow-fish around the room.**
Dr. Smalls - "I do, in fact! I'm starting to wonder if we'll find people in need of all of the extra costumes..."
Javert - "He just got here via kidnapping.. and escaped?"
Arl - "I know him too! Hello Vivian! I'm Arl. The monster bird is actually Cee!"
Cee - "If he was some kind a magical imposter assassin the book would have mentioned it."
Esyllt - "Although we shouldn't rely too much on what it 'would have' said, I agree with Cee in this case."
Javert - "... ... ..FINE. But then that means he didn't have to fight his way through UNDEAD ARCTIC HELL? And if you can just escape like this why hasn't anyone ever left the.."
Dr.Smalls - "Undead Arctic hell, I'd wager."
Arl - "Lack of boat?"
Javert - **Groan~sigh** "I don't care anymore. Vivian, you know where they keep children? The night house or whatever these monsters call it."
Arl, to Colt - "I don't... think I've made any wishes?"
Cee - "Maybe it's the sash! It's a divine healing item thing made when the elvish gods asked you to describe a thing and an object. Maybe it destines you to make sacrifices for others?"
Arl - "...I wouldn't put that past them.
**Arl had no objections either, although she left a note explaining the situation [minus the involvement of anyone besides herself] along with a way to contact her in the shack for Jed. Normally she probably wouldn't but.. the condition of the shack was itself more than a little suspicious.
A suspision that was confirmed about a half hour later when the group's boat floated within sight of the second of "Jed's Boats"... and the corpse it bore upon it. The body looked looked like some animals and insects had been nibbling on it, and to the untrained eye it was rather hard to tell how long it'd been since the man had died. The body was still loosely clutching its chest, but there were no obvious mortal injuries on the coprse. Although, again, it would be hard to tell due to the nibbling.**
**Aynat had shrugged at the stone question, spending the remainder of her time farfing about while Aster finished looking at her part of the place. Why were the stones on the inside? Torture device?**
Also, we heard from Trabant - he's just tied up due to some RL stuff.

EDIT: Aim didn't show me your response until now for some reason. Phone...
Anyway, I have responded in the aim with some suggestions regarding the brought up issues.
EDIT 2: Are you (Trabant and such) reading this? Are you wondering if anything happened? Please check the aim! Stuff is happening.

Anyone paying close attention to their surroundings might hear some thrashing in the distance.**

Javert - "Could this be a trick?"
Esyllt - "The book didn't say anything about this."
