Whew! My computer died, and I'm using another one to post here. What does this mean? I'm going to be posting sporadically!

Anyway, I'm only going to be showing up for the first day of the prerelease, I MAY just show up for the second day as well, I'm not entirely sure about that! I'll let you all know.

Guess what Legionnaires! I'm going to be heading to the Prerelease of Guildpact this month in Richmond, Virginia. If any of you are close I would suggest to consider driving to that prerelease to meet your glorious leader!

Also, two weeks after that I will be attending Grand Prix Richmond, which yours truly will hope to get a spot on the Pro Tour!

It's pretty pretentious to think that we could get Clan of the Year in such a short amount of time since we've been here. Now I could say differently if I were still running my old clan, but that's another story...

I offer the endless protection of the Legionnaires for the trading faction Orzhov, because buying and selling is what keeps things moving, and I'd hate to see the Orzhov burn without a fight!

Well, suicide, all you have to do is post your request to join here!

All you have to do is tell me you'll be active within the clan and I can let you in.

Of course, I have to wait until you reply back before I can, but that's the whole part of waiting.

    Also,

I'm Back! I had a brief hiatus for the holidays, but I've been sporadically here (as POTN has been noticing).

POTN, you've done a great job as sub leader. You should get an award for that! I mean, I'd award you one, but then all the other Legionnaires would want one too. Wink

Unless, you all are cool with that? I have one in mind if you are.

    To Will -

Are there any future M:TG projects in the works for you? Same question to Cory Jumpin' Jehosephat Herndon! (Play on how your middle initial is always looking mysterious.)

    Next big question:

Have you ever wanted to "create" a Planeswalker? Perhaps such a free license on Magic that you could do it?

On another related note, if one of us had enough money to pay you to write a novel, would you take the commission? Wink

Then again, I write a pretty mean fiction myself, so it's neat.

Another comment asking: What is the confirmed release date of Guildpact?

When you are finished with a storyline, if there are loose bits to be tied up, do you consider writing a little narrative that explains things?

Also, have you considered duo writing? Like, writing with another writer half of a book, and half of another book? It's a very interesting technique being tried and working beautifully: I've read two short novellas using this technique and I'd swear it was written by one person. Just to make sure that it was, I saw the notations made by both writers. It sounds like it might come out as sounding like it would be obvious the difference of writing, but each other was able to cover each other's writing by going back and making it consistent.

Granted, it doesn't always work because of differing ideas, but it brings out really interesting writings.

Next topic: Have you ever been approached to write a column for MTG.com? I think you might have Cory, or maybe it was you Will, but I think it would be cool if one of you worked with Matt Cavotta on the Taste the Magic column, especially when Guildpact rolls around.

Zealot, as a keyword name, sounds really cool.

In fact, I would go so far as to say to make it the official name of our serious keyword.

Remember, we're talking about mechanics, not just keywords. So the "mechanic" for the block could be something entirely different (example: flip cards).

Let's get those think tanks working!

    Now it's a Razia Eye!

I have yet to see a convincing ornament.

Oh I love the chaos to our order :p

Heads up Clanmates! We have a big undertaking ahead of us!

Check out Clan Contest 5 on the main page.

We need a special board so we can deliberate on the mechanics. Who wants to create the Boros Project Board? I need replies, people!

I've never really taken a liking to the Curio. How do most people use it?

Me and my friend pretty much thought the card was useless.

Heh. If you only knew what allying with us and the Dimir at the same time would gain you...

    Just a little thought. Smile

I really think that a G/W/R deck has its merits. I've been tinkering around with a B/W/G myself, what with Mortify and Putrefy being the chief removal in the deck. Smile

That's a sweet banner for the next thread.

You guys, Charlie needs some practice, so let's make a contest! We'll pick a few things for Charlie to make, and then vote which one is the best. I personally will detail how cool the winning banner is so Charlie can understand what makes it cool.
