Shaky 3 colour manabases are hit VERY hard by land destruction (ruinblaster, spreading seas, etc) and WU has enough tools that it's really not sacrificing much by not going WUb.
A very interesting card for limited if the agresive flyers deck gets a nerf (considering how stron git was in m10).
The ncie thing about a super high thoughness is even if they have 2 or 3 guys out, you might still be able to attack with him without risking his massive rear.
A few things about the deck:
-too hardcore for removal
-BBE will always hit a creatures, ensuring vengeine sheanigans
-tonnes of tokens from thrinax, siegegang and nest nvaders
- new sharken is incredibly good, especially with all our tokens
some more
-very untraditional Jund
-Spot removal is very weak atm, with all the tokenish decks and PW decks.
-might want broodmates, maybe instead of leeches, but that slows it dwn immensely
-cutting seems sketchy, I would atleast keep it in SB
this guy is pretty sweet, I think you guys may be underrating him a bit.
His semi shroud obviously is meant to supplement sounterspells. Paying 4 for terminate only to have it countered would kindof suck.
His tapping ability is amazing. It take there offensive star out of the fight, gives him a form of evasion or can seriously punish their manabase.
It might still be unplayable in constructed, but it's atleast better then most mythics we've seen fromprevious sets, and is forsure a limited bomb.
EDIT: also it DOES trigger wen he attacks note the "ou qu'il attaque".
New cards for BW tokens: emeria angel, inquisition of kozilek, duress, possibly gideon, kazandu blademaster, devout lightcaster (hits bitterblossom :3), kor sanctifiers (a body attached to enchantment removal is nice, although it's probably too inefficient), baneslayer, luminarch ascension, malakir bloodwitch, vampire nighthawk, gatekeeper of malakir (the manabase is so strong with fetch lands it's awesome), feast of blood, vampire hexmage, white knight, and of course the almighty marsh flats.
Pilgrim's eye+Knight of the reliquary seem solid to me; better then chalice becaus they're reusable off of titan and atleast bring some value after you have all the mana you need (they also up your land count for the sky ruin).
Noone runs elspeth?
3 Elspeths and 2 Gideons has been killer in any midrange deck I've seen that involved white. Not returnable via sundude, but who cares, they're so damn good.
Why run fetchlands at all? Seems bad throwing away life for negligible deck thinning.
4 maindeck DoJ seems bad, especially against WU decks who will be one of our greatest threats (they flat out beat us lategame unless we get emeria rolling).
Hyena umbra seems bad; although an interesting sideboard option for sure, imo there's just too much bounce and rfg for it to be main'd. Now armoured ascension.... I have to try that out as a 2 of.
For my initial builds I'm just going to try 4 sun titans outright. He has so much potential I see no reason to not try it.
Base of my deck:
4 path to exile
4 oblivion rings
3 Elspeth
2 Gideon
4 wall of omens
4 sun titans
Everythign else seems to be debatable, but I won't be cutting any of those anytime soon.
There was a combo deck ran by LSV and some guys in standard just after m10 came out (pre zen rotation).
It ran Heritage Druid/Nettle Sentinal/Elvish Visionary as the central combo
Ranger of Eos/primal command as tutors
Regal Force (I think) as mass card draw
Elvish Archdruid and llanowar elves for super mana
Forget the rest :/
It was a deck to beat in a metagame of faeries and 5cc so I wouldn't write it off yet.
3BB
B:~ deals 1 dmg to each creature and each player
B:~ gains lifelink until eot
B: regenerate ~
2/2
No side with myr?
Alrgiht then the side with Elspeth.
What a babe.
O wait that wont be phyrexia, so mirrodin it is.
bwahahaha

11 power for 5 mana is very strong, and resilience to sweepers is cake.
However 11 power for 5 might not even be good enough lol we'll see.
Scrubs everywhere.
Spam infraction.
4x putric leech
4x Sprouting
3x new civic wayfinder
4x BBE
4x vengevine
4x siege gang commander
4x Sharkan the mad
4x eldrazi monument
25 lands

Who honestly needs to ramp past 6?

But ya, always run 4 filters anyway, they're so good.
Definitely have some testing to do. ~_~
