    Very well.

    Unvote: Vecna

Let's hear what Armlx has to say. It appears one of you may be "going home" shortly.

Are you saying he's not a Red Rare? If so, out with it. Why waste time.

Sorryguy, I'm looking for votes from people convinced I am mafia. Not townies who want to get information.
I have decided I will reveal absolutely nothing about the card of armlx until he posts a claim, which I will verify the truth of.

You have this backwards Vecna. If you do have some kind of "inspectorish" role--like a name inspector, the only way to "prove" your ability is for you to speak first and then have the person you inspected verify you. Otherwise, it's quite simple enough to sit back, let the other person claim and then say "yes, that's right, you got your own role-name correct."

Also, does Armix have a reason to lie about said role-name? Is he not a Red Rare, which is what he previously claimed? If you know his card and it is a Red Rare, then all that has been established is that he spoke truth before. It doesn't mean scum. We already know there are red townies.

If you "know" Armix is a Red Rare, then you know nothing. You can prove that you have this ability by saying what he is up-front. However, there may be good reasons not to give away Armix's card, so consider that first.

BTW, do you know anyone else? You don't have to say who or how many, just say if you do or not.

Wow. That was helpful of you dusk_.
    :rolleyezes:
Armlx has specificly not claimed vanilla. You seem to have a streak of misinterpretation. Please fix this.
I am singling armlx out from the crowd. I have my reasons. I have had said reasons since the beginning of the day. I meant by my statements that armlx is lying if he ever claims vanilla or anything.

    Really, a winner is you.

EWP: Oh really axelrod? Please do explain further why so far into the game, one such as yourself, who seems to be so logical, would place such a vote without logical reason, only personal.(Or perhaps a vendetta?)
    Also, I'm sooooo scared.
Also, I'm not Frank. Eatit corkmaster.

And considering the fact that Armix has already said, quite specifically, that he is NOT vanilla, your entire point appears to be...pointless.

    Vote: Vecna

Frankly, I'm tired of his posts. And he was on my suspicious list anyway. So there.

So now we suddenly have a bandwagon on Dusk? And with just as little basis as the first one on Iammars? My, my things are moving quickly. Frankly I feel less good about Dusk simply because he is one of the few people who has revealed nothing about himself, but I can't say that his posting to this point has particularly aroused my suspicions.

There also appears to be a block of voters who seem particularly eager to toss their votes around. Look at all the "Unvote Iammars; Vote Dusk" posts. Does anyone care to give a basis stronger than "gee, that last post of yours looked funny?" We have more to go on than just a person's last post.

Okay, I don't understand the vote on Iammars at all. Because he said he changed colors yesterday, and therefore changed colors back today? If you thought the color changing was suspicious why didn't you vote him yesterday? The only person with a possibly legitimate motive that I see is Fade, but he is being cryptic, plus, his "plan" would seem to require Iammars get lynched.

If we are going to pressure people, I'd pick someone who hasn't given us much of anything yet. Personally I'd look at Vecna, and possibly even Puzzle, who is not in form this game from what I can see (that whole color-rotating theory was way out there). Puzzle also appears to have been on the wrong side of both lynches, which is not damning in and of itself, but might merit further investigation.

Best thing Puzzle has got going for him is what Basementdwellers said: i.e. Puzzle isn't mafia, with no explanation given at the time. If he were a Paladin, however, I could see him having a "Godfather" type role that comes up clean to investigations. Plus, if he were a black Paladin, his strange claim that he thought he might have been a Paladin in a previous life, might make more sense. He could have been trying to set himself up for a claim of White Paladin later. This is me thinking out loud right now. I am not pointing a finger at anyone yet.

I am starting to think that the only black mafia are the Paladins, however. Which means no one who has "name-claimed" is clear.

Musashi, is there anyone you can "clear" if you put a vote on them, if they get enough votes? You seemed to think you had this ability day one, at least for certain people. Blinking Spirit: same question.

Ok, finally caught up. Here we go. I came up mostly empty. I played a hunch and it didn't pan out. I cannot confirm swinkee's sanity or daz's or puzzle's true-ness (not yet anyway). Because we need to figure out if swinkee is insane or not and puzzle has been more helpful, I have to vote daz I'm sorry man, but I had to make a choice between the 2 of you and we have to nail another mafia asap before we shrink our numbers too much. What I was able to divine is that musashi was indeed our vig, not the cop. I think there must be another vig out there though, as he was a 1 shot wonder. If we got a free doc, I'm going to ask for protection tonight to see what i can dig up on the mafia.

I don't get this. I don't get it at all. What do you mean you played a "hunch" and it didn't pan out? What was the hunch? Who are you talking about when you say you had to make a choice between "the 2 of you?" What can you possibly dig up on the mafia if all you do is investigate corpses and find out their abilities? We already know Basement was false. What will that tell us?

This post bothers me, and I'd like you to explain better before we go back into night if you don't mind.

Also, we need to firm up the "plan" again. Last night seemed to work okay (except for Az getting killed, of course). So shall we do something similar?

    Peacekeepers: Puzzle again?
Puzzle: Whoever, with a nod to Swinkee if Daz does come up false.
Swinkee: Your choice. If it were me, I'd be looking at Pibbly. He's probably next on my list at this point. If Daz somehow comes up as a true Shaman, you might want to look at another Peacekeeper, possibly Alpha?
Crippled: Not sure if there is any percentage in you using your ability now, unless you've got a strong suspicion.
Titus: you haven't come up with anything yet. So I don't know what to suggest, or even if you have a choice in the matter.

Holding the vote until people say what they need to say (and Draygn answers my question.)

My point about that is: if Swinkee is not our true cop, there ought to be another person out there who is the true cop. That person should have investigated Swinkee after his role-claim and should know if Swinkee is a True Shaman. This wouldn't tell us if Swinkee's investigations are trustworthy, but it would be a start.

If there is no one in this game who can "confirm" Swinkee for us, that means one of three things: (1) Swinkee is the real cop; (2) there is no real cop in this game; or (3) one of the deceased players was the cop. The roles of the Deceased were "Warrior" "Protector" and "Tracker." I think we can safely rule out Warrior and Protector as possible Cop roles. Tracker could have been a Cop. I don't recall any overt hints from Azrael that he had any abilitites in that regard, however. It might be worth reviewing his posts to see if he hinted at anything.

Also, I assume that's the last of the "A" roles? So there is not another Tracker out there, right?

Finally, anyone want to report having their things rummaged through. Even with Daz role-blocked last night, there was still someone out and about the night before.

Puzzle, you are overlooking that fact that both Titus and Draygn have claimed a "limited" information role of some type--not straight up cop. They appear not to have to ability to investigate anyone they want whenever they want, and they might not even be able to tell true Shaman from False Shaman. Draygn, at least, has hinted that his role does something else. I don't know what Titus does, except that he hasn't come up with anything useful yet.

Still want to wait for Draygn to post. Then we should discuss a "plan" for the next night.

It's really too bad that our only dead mafia was such a lurker. There's almost nothing to go on from his posts. Basically, Billking made one longish post (#541)which had some useful information in it. He defended Pawn (in hindsight this was mafia attempt to gain credibility). He pointed fingers at SorryGuy (going so far as to suggest the Vig. target him) and Draygn_Mage.

With respect to SorryGuy, I already believed him due to the wackiness of his claim, but Billking's attack on him further supports him. I'd say he is virtually clear at this point. With respect to Draygn, billking's FOS was weaker. He suggested Draygn as a possible lynch instead of Pawn, but didn't argue it all that strongly. It is certainly not beyond the realm of possibility for a mafia to FOS another mafia, even vote for a fellow mafia when the pressure is not on them. This came right at the end of the day as well when Pawn was pretty much a goner, so I don't list Draygn as clear because of this.

I also note that when Pibbly took over and posted, he stated that if he could vote (which he couldn't because he was tapped) he would vote for Greebo. That does make me less suspicious of Greebo (who I wasn't really suspicious of anyway.) Pibbly also defended Vecna at a time when Vecna was in some real danger. And Pibbly semi-declared that he was green (not black, blue or red).

Actually, HR's vote count doesn't seem accurate. I noticed that both Puzzle and armlx also voted for unsan, but that wasn't reflected in the end-of-day vote counts. There may have been others, but I only noticed those as I was backtracking through the thread.

Hmmmmm. I believe you are correct. This might, in fact, change things. I really have to go back and check. Problem is this thread is already so damn big that it takes like hours to review the whole thing....

Considering that Unsan was lynched with only 4 votes on him, I'm not sure we are going to be able to learn too much from that. But, for the record, those voters were:

draygn_mage, Blinking Spirit, epeeguy, Urban Druid

Comparing to those who also voted for Pawn:

Puzzle, Axelrod, CropCircles, AlphaInsidious, SorryGuy, Dusk_, UrbanDruid, carrion pigeons, armlx, crippled fist

This shows only one person--Urban Druid--in on both lynches. Suspicious? Possibly, but the fact that it's only one person actually speaks against it. I fear the town may have lynched Unsan pretty much on our own. Epeeguy has not aroused my suspicions, and Blinking Spirit has some kind of link to Musashi, who I have not been suspicious of. But then again, Blinking himself said that this supposed link does not "clear" either of them, so it very well could be a parallel ability? Something both a mafia and a townie have? Whatever it is.

Draygn I could could go either way on. Obviously Unsan considered him suspicious, but the fact that Unsan turned out town doesn't make him right. It just means his suspicions were genuine.

I'd suggest starting off with a review of those people's posts to see if anything strikes a chord. And if anyone got some good information during the night that they can share without giving too much away, that might be nice. We probably still have 6-7 mafia left and a long way to go.

Well, this sounds like very good news indeed. Now if we could just get some kind of confirmation of Swinkee. But, then again, if no one else is coming out as our "true" Cop, it just might be Swinkee. And if Daz is guilty, of course, that goes a long way towards clearing him.

So Azrael was town, but he lied about his Vowel. Sometimes I just don't get him. I will give Daz his "chance" to post a defense, but I'm not seeing what he could say that would be different from what he said yesterday. And his post above is highly suspicious. Not at all what I would expect from someone falsely accused.

Mainly I'm waiting now to give everyone else a chance to chime in. I especially would like to hear from the other Diviners--Draygn and Titus. Did you guys get any useful information? I suppose you shouldn't say if it would give away too much.

"Tracker" sounds like it could have been a Cop role, which would be extremely unfortunate as that would leave no one to counter-claim Swinkee. But it could also just be a "watcher" type role. Or a role having something to do with the Talisman. So probably not too much point in speculating about it, unless someone has the ability to specifically find out what it is--or what Az did with it.
