She wasn't honest with you and for that you should be upset. You'd be crazy not to be. Stripping is a big deal and even in the classier establishments it can still be a dangerous job.
I am curious, though, and sorry if this has already been asked. But how did you think she was paying her bills?
As an aside, I have a friend who was a stripper online before. I won't mention the website since that may be against the rules, but it was one of those gigs where the girl is on a webcam in a chat room and the guys pay money for tokens to tip the girls. She never dated guys from there, but when she did date she was always up front about what she did and, as far as I know, it was never an issue.

I called my mom and told her about this whole thing the best I could, and she's fairly certain that Darron is going to make it out ok. She kept rattling on using these terms that I'm not smart enough to understand, but she made it sound like as long as all he has done is post information that other people have told him, then he should be fine.

I think that when you're in love with someone, it's natural to be attracted to other people, but developing feelings for them is not what I'd call normal or good. I don't think it's a big deal if you're in a relationship with someone and they just think that someone else is pretty or cute or what have you, but once it gets to the point of them having feelings for them it has gone too far. Obviously I'm not including good ol' fashioned friendships.
For those of you who I haven't talked to in a bit, I just got out of a serious relationship where I was cheated on, so I know how dangerous it can be when your boyfriend or girlfriend gets feelings for someone else. Basically, I think that if you're with one person and you like someone else, it's more lust than love. I loved my boyfriend so much and I wasn't intrested in being more than friends with anyone else in the whole wide world. Apparently he didn't feel the same way.
What Mike did brought about change in a way that wouldn't have happened otherwise, so I don't see why he should be punished for that. While it may have been bad to "spam" it over the forums, it worked out for the better so I think you should cut him some slack.
Annorax could be nice when he wanted. And he was very helpful when he felt a need to be, as well. I look forward to him coming back in whatever shape that may be.
You are not the brightest crayon in the box are you? What does love have anything to do with resigning from a position? That is like saying: I got her the job. I am fired because I am a loser. Now she should quit because I am no longer there. Because if she doesnt then she doesnt love me.

I may not be an expert on love, but I do know that if my boyfriend//husband//significant other gave me a position and then he was removed from his when he felt it wasn't deserved, and I agreed with him, I would leave as well. And since they are supposedly in love then I can only assume that she agrees with Belg on this issue. But I suppose I may have a differant view on what constitutes love than you, Belg, or whoever else.
I'd just like to say that I always liked Bel - as a person. Some of the things he has done while in his position I can't say I agree with, however.
And I also find it highly unlikely that anyone else would leave simply because others have. As much as people typically like to pretend they are loyal to there friends, they are loyal to themselves much more and I'd find it very surprising if someone gave up there moderator position for a friend. Though, I suppose the exception would be to Belgs girlfriend, since if she actually does love him, and he got her the position, she would resign as well.
But, as much as it pains me to say it, (I'd rather you all come back to 'News) Salvation will live on.
