That's in a draft, but a draft is not the only type of limited tournament - sealed decks are also limited tournaments and you can open your packs in any order in sealed deck tournaments.
So... your argument is that the term "first pick" has ANY RELEVANCE in sealed decK? Have you even played magic before? For that matter, is english your first language?
Never mind, I'll ignore you.

If it is a YW, it'd only be for arcane cards... which would rock the hard one. It might even be relatively cheap, because arcane cards generally suck; and giving them all flashback" wouldn't really help, would it?
How about a Regrowth variant? I am thinking along the lines of a card that allows you to return a card with CMC x or maybe x or less. Nostalgic Dreams was part of a cycle, so could this be reasonable?
Reasonable, and it'd see play; but sadly if it's X, not X or less, then it'd be pretty useless...
Oh noes I posted speculation in a speculation forum!!!!!!!!
Seriously why wouldnt they make a Meltdown variant? You say it would be overpowered but isnt the best deck in the format overpowered also?
Just throwing stuff out there.
1. It's not speculation if you know it's wrong.
2. Name 1 card (outside of disiciple, a colored 1 toughness creature from a set BEFORE affinity was broken) in affinity that's "overpowered"? Trading artifacts for +1,+1 counters? I don't see you playing the green thing that gave 1 +1,+1 counter or 1 card, do I?
3. Meltdown can hit multiple objects, destroy multiple cards. None of the others can do that. ANd you want it to do it for free. Ditch a BOP, destroy all artifact lands, all spellbombs, all welding jars, all chrome moxes, etc? Bull.
RRWoods: Indomitable Will isn't the best, because you're going to be wanting to bounce your creatures.
I'm thinking that if a ninja deck is feasible, it's going to be blue-black. Nezumi Cutthroat and Soratami Cloudskater provide excellent evasion, and the soratami gives card-selection too (until Higure or Deep Hours can take over), and in type 2 (if ninjas are good enough), Aether Vial (if you have Higure) and Ornithopter help get your men through. Higure also makes ninjas like the bounce-ninja much more powerful. Also, Ink-Eyes is a ninja, and is likely to be powerful (story implies a reanimation ability, which would be very good if they manage to kill Higure).
Yes, but what do you do turn 1?
WW: Drop 2/2 or samurai or 1/1 flyer.
R/X: Frostling.
G/X: Hana Kami, Orochi mana fixer, uh...
Ninja needs an evasion 1 drop... or needs red to provide the burn so your ninja are unblocked.
Ah, so let me get this straight... blue now has rebels and lightning bolts, eh? That's just crap.
Turn 5 he hits play normal like, because I block all his jerks.
Turn 6 he makes himself unblockable, attacks for 3, and fetches me a ninja, who I promptly cast because next turn I can make them both unblockable.
Block will be crawling with ninja, while T2 is crawling with ravager. Oh, the complaints...
Yeah, no doubt those are already being used in G/r spirits--I was looking for your opinions on the NEW cards.
@ twintwist: I've had good results with Kami of the Hunt, in the decklist I posted. Granted, it has at best a .500 game against ravager and only slightly better against T/N, I think if BoK brings two things to the Spirit/Arcane table, G/x will be entirely viable:
1. A bear spirit in green, black, or blue. The 2 drop slot in this deck is choked with bad creatures.
2. A more reliable way to recur combo pieces, e.g. lost Gohei or Kodama South.
more efficient artifact removal wouldn't hurt either!
The deck has GOOD 2 drops:
Soilshaper
Hearth Kami (He's good in T2 now, in sideboard maybe in block)
Add Sakura Tribe Elder to smooth out your mana sources and add a chump blocker (he's the only non-spirit in the block deck, making rend fleshes all the more useless, as you'd sac them if your opponent's stupid enough to splice onto it).
The deck needs 1 drop creatures BAD. Frostling's that creature. If there was a spirit version of raging goblin, he might be a better choice. If there was a tutor creature, we could do with less copies of South Tree.

Note: Even your G/U monstrocity does NOT have a 50% against either Ravager or T+N. Maybe poorman's Ravager and stupid-kid's T+N; but not against the decks I run. Why? Well, you're too slot. What's you're "big plan"... splice consuming vortex and keep returning the collossus? Damn, those Rude Awakenings you're being fed must suck. And All Tooth really needs is two turns free with a tooth and nail. As you can't get things out to kill them before turns 5-6, they've pretty much got it. All they do is wait for you to tap out playing your kodama or something, then they wreck you. Affinity? Ha! The thought of this against affinity makes me ashamed to play affinity; I'd be charged with war crimes. My tooth would be charged with murder. Heck, my big red would be charged with being a serial killer the way I'd methodically kill every single creature you have for 1/3rd of it's mana cost.
Note 2: 3/3s for 3 aren't good anymore. If they were, you'd run troll ascetic. Now you're playing with a 2/2 for 3 that gets bonuses only when you play arcane spells? La di da, he's dead that turn as he needs to block ravager for you not to lose. Big red burns him. Tooth laughs at him. A lot.

I'd say her bigges use would be in big red or RDW, forcing blockers and disciples to attack; but red has removal so why's it really need it?
