Seriously why do people think they wouldn't be able to kill and perform an action in the same Night?
That would pretty literally break this game that's why it never happens in role madness

DV literally told us as much?

I still think we're best off using the LG tomorrow instead.

Lol. SK is just a different type of scum you goon. When you're trying to differentiate there you should use the specific term 'mafia'.

I just want to have this on the record for later, because I know it doesn't mean anything right now. There are lines that I don't cross to be convincing as scum, and publicly fighting with the Mod(who was perfectly willing to argue back, incidentally) is definitely one of those lines.

Like, I'm still mad at Sir Chris because in that one Invitational, he was all, "I had to stop making Thanksgiving Dinner to come save the town!"..when he was scum. There are just some things that you don't do.

Oh and I couldn't have used the Mask, I was busy using the Eyes because I didn't understand that they're just a 3 Sanity gamble. Just saying.

Yeah I honestly don't think Tom is scum under any circumstances.

Like, why would a scum create a separate chat window for 2 of their scum buddies; it makes no sense. It's literally a waste. It makes FAR more sense to do so for one of your scum buddies and one townie, to get some extra information. Setting this up is a really, really long con that I have a hard time believing in, especially considering how inattentive that slot has been for the entire game.

I would lynch Tom ahead of Wuffles or Rhand, but that's really it.

I don't feel inclined to comment on what I'm going to do with my night action(s).

Good news, the Healing Stone is different than that other item we were talking about, and according to DV, paying Sanity loss does result in a gain instead with the HS. So the plan is back on, I'll use the HS Today, buy the Orb, and then gain 3 Sanity when I use it to investigate someone instead of losing it.

Sure. My vote is already on Cantrip. I've bid on the one AH item that I care about. Feel free to end the day as soon as possible.

Oh right LW RB'ed Rhand last night. So that is a big sigh of relief.

This game is so deflating for me. Everything I think we have a plan or have things figured out, turns out that we've figured out nothing, bought items for no reason, wasted night actions, blahblah. Everything is just so completely frustrating, it's not even fun anymore.

Let's just assign some items to whomever(unless someone gives me some Sanity I can't use the Orb that I bid on, so), lynch cantrip and..whatever. If the game somehow just ended there I wouldn't even care at this point.

I have the same paranoia about Rhand, even though behaviorally he's been really solid. I just can't shake it, blah. It was shadow that he got also, not DOTA. Not that this particularly matters, just want to keep track of what information we have as accurately as possible.

@Mods: Can you clarify what "flip all sanity gains target player receives this cycle" means? Does that mean that if a player would gain 3 sanity over the course of a cycle, they lose 3 sanity instead?

    Yes, and vice versa.

It should be noted that payment of sanity does not count as sanity loss.

I'm answering this publicly because I feel like I'm going to be asked a lot about this one.

Oh wow, I am so glad that you explained this, this changes everything. To be clear, you're saying that if I use the Heart, it wouldn't give me 2 Sanity for using the Pocket Watch; I would still have to pay that 2 Sanity?

@Cantrip:Meh. It's just better to be safe than sorry. We're pretty close to lynch or lose at this point probably, and who knows what shenanigans the scum have in store.

We would certainly have been better off if the moon sign hadn't won, so. That sucks a bunch.

@Cantrip: Meh. If you knew this wasn't going to change anything, why did you bother to vote for any item at all? It just feels to me like you did a snap take and saw that the town was going to get some holy water, so you tried to prevent it.

Yeah I suppose that's a good idea. Though it would also suck if they snipe the Orb out from under me. :/

The Moon Sign was not a qualifying item until you placed a 3rd vote on it. I didn't want to remove both of my votes because I'm not clear on how tie votes work, and I wanted to be sure that at least one vial of Holy Water got through. And if we're being honest, I've started to come around to the Wuffles school of thought on items in this game; 'Sign of the Moon' doesn't sound like a good item to me.

Unrelatedly, if we've learned anything about this game, it's that nothing is 'ridiculously easy'.
