I wasnt joking about blink 182.. well.. the only music that gets here in asia is all i ever hear (NFG, NoFX, the ramones). LOL besides from listening to Jap Rock, Jap SKa (kimura), Pinoy rock. we cant say its a bad taste because we all have different aspects and point of view. Buzzcocks is nice. but not of my generation. and just to add... PUNK is essentially BAD. there is no such thing as GOOD punk. LOL

    how old are you sir?

either you don't like punk or you just haven't heard it

    i'm 23

Do you like metal? If so, what sub-genres and bands?

As a genre, no. It's probably the largest genre that I dislike as a rule. The only exceptions I can think of offhand are Boris and Kylesa.

there are a bunch of good compilations (career overviews of Frankie Knuckles, Mr Fingers, et al, as well as overviews of the entire scene), but the best way for nearly any electronic music is via dj mixes. look up some mixes, like fabric/fabriclive, that have some classic tunes on them, then find other things you like from there. hooray! fabriclive 67 just came out, and that bends more toward modern techno (more minimal), but has some chicago-influenced stuff on there as well.

Classic tune there with Mr. Knuckles. I can't say my techno experience is much to write home about, as I got brought to the dance by old Paul van Dyk, A&B, Oakenfold, Tiesto (like, pretty much anything pre-Kaleidoscope), etc.

Did you see the Ultra lineup?

trance is not my style like at all at all at all Frown also i don't go to festivals sorry

Love punk rock bro. whats the best punkrock band ever in your opinion? i know they almost sounds the same, beats all the same, but in a way there is always something different with blink 182. great band.

hahahaha i can't tell if you're joking or not. woo boy.

as far as first-wave punk the best album is probably Buzzcocks - Singles Going Steady. Wire - Pink Flag is also an acceptable answer.

and no it only sounds the same if you're listening to bad punk, sorry

Oh sorry, I was meant to ask what's your favourite Beatles song?

tomorrow never knows, because it basically invented breakbeat-based electronic music

    Like what?

i was hoping to see people take the stance that this is a Magic: the Gathering forum and of no real importance, so people should have the most fun possible with it. instead everyone (including the posters of the gutter) take everything super serious all the time

What're the big differences between MTGS before and after your ban?

the staff drama is much more out in the open than it used to be. internal disputes spilling into the "public" just makes things ugly.

things are even stricter than they used to be. i used to be able to make hundreds of "borderline" posts; every other one of them would get me an infraction nowadays.

the attitude i was trying to cultivate among gutter posters is nowhere to be seen.

blood bros are pretty well-respected, no idea why you'd think they could be "possibly one of the worst bands ever"

apparently i don't have any of their albums on this comp but i'll get one or two now; thanks for the rec i guess
