Choose your Guild1. There are no alignment-changing roles, jesters, cults, or other nonsense like that in this game.
2. No post editing, no PM quoting. No discussing the game with anybody aside from me and people specifically outlined in your role PM, and only at the time and in the manner specified.
3. If you are dead, do not post or communicate with anybody about the game in any form. You may post a single "bah" post, provided that it does not contain any game-related material.
4. Lynch will be reached with a majority vote. No amount of unvoting will stop this.
5. If you need me to respond to something directly, please PM me. I probably won't respond to any question in-thread unless it is incredibly basic (e.g., a vote count mishap). Don't be surprised if the answer you get isn't what you expected.
6. Respect the spirit of the game and do not engage in any out-of-game behavior. Use of anything such as activity stalking or attempting to get yourself modkilled will result in a modkill, blacklisting from all of my future games, and recommendation that you be put on probation.
7. Please bold your votes. Unvote before voting for somebody else. Make all votes on a new line. If you do not follow these rules I will not count your vote.
8. If a deadline for a lynch is reached without a majority, the Day will end in No Lynch. If you fail to submit a Night action by the deadline, it will not be counted, even if I take a while to get to resolving it. Please inform me if you wish to take no action at Night.
9. Please title all game action-related PMs with "Return to Ravnica Mafia," "RTR Mafia," or similar and include the current Phase. If it's just a question, don't worry about anything like that.
10. Please do not use the forum's "thanking" feature to "thank" any other player's post. You may thank my posts as much as you like, however.
Credit for the rules goes to all of the fantastic mafia mods out there I wish I could be like.1. You, in addition to receiving a role PM, will receive a guild letter. This letter will have a brief flavor blurb and specify which of the five Return to Ravnica guilds you are a member of ( or ). Your guild may have impact on gameplay. Guilds do not impact win conditions. Guilds do not change during the course of the game.
2. For the most part, roles are independent of Guilds. That is, any particular role could be assigned any of the 5 Guilds depending on the randomizer. I do not recommend modgaming based on Guild assignments, as you will be going up against Random.org, not me. Until the morning I made this thread, even I did not know which Guild went with which role. Guilds will be revealed on death.
3. You may not quote your role PM. You also may not quote your guild letter. You may quote your role name and your guild name, however.
4. The Town win condition is: "You win when you have eliminated all threats to the town."
5. The Scum win condition is: "You win when you control the vote."1. Each Day phase will have a deadline. Deadlines for each game Day will be equal to the number of living players that Day, with a minimum length of 7 days.
2. Night phases will last 72 hours until half of the players are dead, at which point they will be shortened to 48 hours. Toward the end of the game, Nights may move more quickly than this depending on how swiftly actions are given to me.
3. During the game, there are up to three deadline extensions available. These extensions may be requested by the players at any time in the thread, and may be granted at my sole discretion. Don't be mad if I say no.
The options are as follows:
Extension Rules:A: 24 hours per player OR 7 days, whichever is shorter.Granted on Day Three.
B: 72 hours
C: 24 hours
- Once a particular extension is used, it cannot be used again that same game.
- Any number of extensions can be used in the same game Day.
- If the players do not specify which extension they wish to use (or if there is no consensus on which one to use), I will pick the remaining option highest up on the list.
- Extensions are appended to the deadline time. There's no need to strategically time when the request is made.
- At least two players must request an extension for it to be considered.Player Responsibilities
1. Follow the rules. If you break a rule, you will almost certainly be modkilled. This is your warning.
2. Play clean and ask me before doing anything that could even potentially run afoul of these rules. Ask me before doing something that is "usually" against the rules that I may have omitted from mine accidentally.
3. Have fun, but make sure that your fun does not infringe upon the fun of others.
4. Post regularly, at least once every 72 hours at a bare minimum.
5. PM me with any questions. Don't assume.
6. Inform me if players need prods. Failure to post after 72 hours is grounds for a prod.
7. Inform me if I have made an error with a vote count or other action.

As I crept, unseen, through the streets, I heard a large commotion a block over. I made my way toward the noise, which intensified as I approached. I could just make out accusatory voices.
Before the crowd came into view I heard a the brutish roar from what I could only assume was a large ogre, followed by a dull thud of bone hitting rock above my head. Fortunately my cowl protected my hair from the rubble that fell.
I turned back to see what—or who—had been flung at at me. A small goblin, probably juvenile, lay there. Blood oozed from his cracked skull, staining his green-and-white robes. His eyes fluttered slightly—he was still alive, if only by a thread.
I knew he wouldn't be long for this world, so I decided to do something I am not proud of and end his life decisively. I felt that it was the most humane option.
As I cradled his head in my hands, I could read his thoughts. Fear overwhelmed his mind, as well as sadness. I briefly probed for any signs that he was one of the conspirators, but I found none. An innocent's blood was spilled today.
I said some brief words, then snapped his neck.

SNL- Too boring to be rare. 2 power on a flyer for 2 is too good with flash. Broken power level isn't a justification for rarity.
Forestsguy- Ehhh I guess it works but the potential card disadvantage doesn't compensate for the threat it poses. Also it needs a rarity.
KarmaHoudini- There's a template for this already, see for instance Frost Titan and Icefall Regent. The block tax is only in white now.
I guess Forestsguy wins this won.
