Haha, just had an excellent game vs a lin sivvi deck. Four upkeeps a turn (Paradox Haze, Copy Enchantment, Strionic Resonator) with Staff of Nin, Venser's Journal, Braids, and Eternal Dominion activating each time.

My life gain was outpacing his coat of arms'd rebels.

So I just had a player on MTGO quit after I Starstorm'd his field of Beetleback Chief and Invader Parasite, saying that I hadn't read the description of his challenge- "Deck Testing". Um..sorry?

I recently started playing some on MTGO again, with a cycling deck. Just to continue my insanity! Haven't been around the forums/MTGO for a month or two now.

I started playing in ___________ set/block: Legions..I think. I didn't really pay attention back then, it just just kitchen table (or in this case, art class table) magic! 13-14 years ago.

My favourite colour is: In order: :symr::symg::symb::symu::symw:

My favourite general is: Don't really have any favorites, but Basandra, Battle Seraph and Vorel Of Hull Clade are definately two of my favs.

The general I've always wanted to try is: If I have any desire to make something, I make it! Maybe Braids, Conjurer Adept?

My favourite card type is: Enchantment, hopefully one that messes with things as much as possible. Teferi's Realm is kinda funny. Bad, but funny.

My favourite card is: Sea Eagle for pure nostalgia reasons. Was one of my first cards. Barring that, Ryusei, The Falling Star.

My favourite set/block is: Kamigawa, definately. I even have a spirit-tribal deck! Next favorite is probably Lorwyn/Shadowmoor.

My favourite effect or strategy is: Tribal, and definately not Stax. I generally play the cards that gather the least hate while having a solid position. If I'm a target, I'm doing it wrong.

My dream card would: Off the top of my head.. maybe a X cost token creater that makes Changeling tokens? Haven't really given it too much thought!

My planeswalker BFF is: I'm going to cheat on this one and say Jaya Ballard, Task Mage. Not really a huge fan of planeswalkers in general, and Jaya is one of my fav decks.

If I could live on a land card, it would be: Lorwyn Island #4 probably. Always loved that art.

If I could add any one card to the banlist, it would be: The original Sorin, because saying "LOL 10 LIFE" is really lame.

If I could remove any one card from the banlist, it would be: Upheaval for my Taniwha deck, and/or Painter's Servant.

The best thing (to me) about EDH is: A more relaxed format for a fun game...when people allow it to be.

My (primary) playgroup consists of ______ people: Primarily play MTGO (username Aukan) right now. On the rare occasion I go to my FLGS though, there's.. a dozenish?

Do I play in EDH tourneys?: No

Do I play other MtG formats? (If yes, please state which ones): No

I could see that being black/red instead of jund, but it seems like a fairly balanced card imo. Strong ability if it manages to connect each time, but potentially easy to fizzle. Is he inspired by anything?

I'll see if I can't come up with a decklist to go with it.

Mmm, I just thought of an excellent card idea while I was making lunch. Completely unrelated train of thought.

Sorry Raikou, I only have MTGO at the moment.

By the way, Raikou, I loved that Basandra list of yours- it made for a great reference and gave me some good ideas. It's been a fun deck to play in the last week or so.

Also, I never regret the inclusion of Pyroblast or Red Elemental Blast. They're both such powerful cards, and when you're playing primarily multiplayer, they're never going to be a dead draw. Just finished a game on MTGO where the Sharuum player forgot my hellkite tyrant had trample, lost all of his artifacts...then tried bouncing my very full field with Rift. Pyroblast says no! Next turn, he sculpting steels the mirrorworks I now have, and tries playing Sharuum with a full gy. Red Elemental Blast again says no! He gave up right after.

I've liked what I've seen of Theros so far, and the art is definately stunning. Might have to pick some lands up.

Raikou, where do you get all those excellent pictures? Google-fu?

Having to sacrifice your attacking creatures, despite getting to do damage and me having to tap a mana per, and not being able to do squat about activated abilities, constitutes a broken combo! Silly Cryogen.

Had to run into the bank this morning to make a deposit and cover the insurance bill that was about to come out of it. Came home and fired up MTGO to distract me from how little money I have- I get an opponent who ragequits because Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker and Basandra, Battle Seraph is a "broken combo". My day is officially better now.

I could get one on MTGO, but I don't really see any reason to. If I wanted anything later on, like Jace, it'll be cheaper than it used to be. That's all I care about.

I'm pleased to say that my new Basandra deck is working out well. Speaking of Craterhoof, I used Master Warcraft right after my opponent played it off Chord. He wasn't too happy.

I honestly wasn't even aware there was another Batman movie, when is that supposed to be?

Most my decks are geared for 1v1 I think, but it doesn't make them terrible multiplayers. I mean, my Taniwha deck wiped everyone last night- Sundered everyone then went around 1-shotting people with double swords of FoF and Fireshrieker. EoT, phase it out with Vedalkan Illusionist so it could attack against on my next turn. Completely turned the game around.. one guy had a swarm of boosted tokens that would've won on his next turn. Hurray for Cloak of Invisibility!

I think my next deck project will be Basandra, Battle Seraph focused on multiplayer politics and control... with enough rattlesnakes to keep me safe but not the things that make the entire group hate me (Torpor Orb, I'm looking at you!)

Charmbreaker Devils is in my 5c Charm deck, and it's an absolutely amazing card if you can protect it. When most of your deck is charm spells with three modes, you never get a dead card: of course, your mileage will vary, but I personally love mine.

Also, throwing a 60 power Thromok at someone's face is hilarious.
