@axelrod: sorry for being late about answering your question, but if given only those two options (yes and no), i'd have to say i am more of a 'cop with restrictions' than not.

on daz vs bd: both players have a case to lynch them, but the daz case is stronger simply because of his scumm behavior in the past.

    bad daz No

Alright, since you've all asked so nicely , I will claim: I am a diviner. I can inspect snyone at night and I will know if they are true shaman or false, so I'm basically a cop. First night, I inspected Puzzle and got a reading of True. However, before the second night, I began to wonder about potential sanity issues, so last night I tried to inspect myself. Then the fog hit. Everyone satisfied?

wow, two pages in a day. damnit.

anyways, i can lend my support to this claim in the sense that we have the same name, and our abilities are... kind of similar. i won't reveal mine yet (no need) but it isn't the same as this one. it does, however, fit under the rolename 'diviner'

dazbog issue: there may be mafia peacekeepers. that would really through a wrench in our plans.

No, I'm not. Even if I was I wouldn't be afraid because I don't believe in God either. :tongue2:

My reasons for picking this name were purely for the aesthetic qualities of the word itself.

Tis' great news indeed! Lucifer, prince of darkness, may yet bless me with a long life, a long *****, and a complimentary "Get Out of Hell Free" card.

Steerpike knows above all that the people he is with are insane - sociopathic, at least. He also knows that the vampire and the elf are very intelligent, and wishes to give them as little to analyze as possible. He simply says, "I will go with the vampire." Clearly, the vampire had the upper hand - cold, logical, powerful.

  • posted a message on belief in divine christ mandated by christianity?
note: this is not a 'bash-christianity' thread. ask questions you have about it here.

i have been wondering this for a while, but i know of several churches (mostly UCC) that don't believe that jesus had to have been divine - that is to say, he was a great man (inspiried by god) but he didn't rise from the dead or perform miricales. now, i'm wondering if christianity by definition requires (dogmatically) that its members believe in a divine christ.

secondly, i was wondering if the bible actually condemns homosexuality in the new testemant. i know that there is plenty of stuff in the OT, but that is generally regared as antiquated and disregarded.

Steerpike, quick mind plugging away like a machine, hasn't said anything. At all. The shock of being transplanted to such an alien environment has sent him into a bit of a catatonic stupor - aliens, vampires, orcs, elves - he cannot reconcile these with his current worldview.

However, he snapped out of said stupor fairly quickly. Obviously, he has no choice in what he can and can not do - the vampire is far more powerful than he is.

"I, for one, welcome our new vampire overlords."
