Maro has mentioned several times that is is horrible at templating. He has even said, probably half-jokingly, that the people who do the templating have told him to stop even trying. Which brings us to another point Wizards has people whose job is to put R&D card ideas into the correct template
Maybe the main magic site can have a feature article from one the templaters about it.
[QUOTE=ThisIsNotMyName;/comments/5661849]Out of black and red, I feel red has more potential. Hell, half of Red's slice of pie is neglected because it's too hard for them to design for. Did you know red is the color of love? You probably didn't because it's much easier for them to design more direct damage spells. If this is an aura, I want a red love spell. Why? Because I know R&D won't touch the idea until someone does it for them...../QUOTE]
This is also the reason that Red has my vote. Red is also the color or passion and creativity. How about an enchantment that that forces a player to play a spell or abilty but someone else has to pay for it.
I also think that copying an activated ability should be in red's slice of the pie.
Why the hell would you give prize support to the very worst of the flight? I'd be offended if I placed in the top-16 and only got two more packs than 82nd place. 82nd place--that's the equivalent to rewarding exceptional failure.
You can think of it as everybody gets to 3 packs as part of their entry fee and 8th-16th gets 2 packs as prizes.
A bit tangent to the OT, but some languages do have official words, where a government body decides if a word is "allowed" France is one such language and I am pretty sure China is also
For alright vs all right, I think it should be which ever one fits better with the speaker, and the tone
the flavor text.
Thank You Wizards of the Coast. We Simic mages needed some more "tricky cards". The fact its common makes it better for limited, or worse since it is hybrid and can easily be sided in. Will only get better once Dragons Maze comes out and we get to play with all 10 guilds at once. Then there will be Rakdos and Golgari to mess with.
I think I could deal with any plane that we stuck with for more than one block. Odyssey and Onslaught both took place in Otaria, and it was neat to see how things changed with a different focus. I'd love to see this concept revisited in a 3-year super-cycle.
Fallen Empires, Odyssey and Onslaught all take place in Dominaria. It is a REALLY big place. I think Wizards said it was twice as big as Earth. That being said it will be my choice. But what will also like a set that take place on multiple planes.
I think Orzhov bleeder has the potential to be tier 1 depending on the kind of support that is printed. What is needed are ways to either punish people for attacking you or targeting your stuff or just plain stop them from doing so. Cards like that 1/1 rare for bw definitely get my hopes up.

I found that many used book stores have several Magic books, that is where I got the ones I have.
Gift of Orzhova is on the top of that list.
Unexpected Results In my guild pack
I went 4-2 and got 1 prize pack in it was a Stolen Identity
I lost my first 2 matches as Simic and then switched to Boros

That is what Wizards should do for the 20th anniversary.
A cool thing about Dominaria is since whole continent(s) haven't been explored yet they can have a first set and not even tell us it is on Dominaria
Edit: Sweet, noticed I broke 100 posts.

Segoth, I wasn't doubting your answer, I wanted clarification on the whole banding/trampling thing
Could they just assign leathal damage to one creature, say the 2/2 and 1 to himself?
