Well I picked Hollowhenge Spirit but that was because I was misreading the card and thought it removed target attacking or blocking creature from the game, not combat. Apparently I forgot that they changed the word to exile. Now knowing what the card's actually do I would have taken relentless scab's instead.
It is a lot easier to pull the Planeswalker-Kraj Combo now all you need to do is have Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas, Experimental Kraj, and Liquimetal Coating in play. Use Liquimetal Coating to make any planeswalker into an artifact then use Tezzeret's -1 ability to make said planeswalker into a creature (even Tezzeret himself) finally put a +1/+1 counter on the newly reborn (as a creature) planeswalker however you may (kraj's ability for example). The final step is win however you see fit. This seems a lot easier to assemble than the old method for turning planeswalkers into creatures and since it involves having a planeswalker in play already you can immediatly go infinite for the kill, plus draw every artifact in your deck and make a ton of 5/5s if you so desire.

Based on the art I don't think she has Infect. She looks to clean while most the creatures with infect have art that makes them look covered in or producing oil.
It's interesting that Urabrask resembles a overgrown Myr, and that Vorinclex resembles a Fangren. One could speculate that the other new Praetors will bear some resemblance to characteristic Mirran creatures. Jin-Gitaxias's shadow appears to have a vestigial pair of second arms at the bottom of his ribcage, so maybe there's a vedalken in there somewhere?
Well that would make sense considering that they had to come from some Mirrodin creatures at some point, (maybe even more than one).
Those Phyrexians on other planes are isolated from each other, as far as we know. They each came from an oil infection like there was on Mirrodin. Mirrodin, though, is uniquely suited for becoming a new Phyrexian homeworld, since it's already hollow (more surface on which to build) and has a huge amount of mana to use (the core plus the five suns) and metal to use as raw materials.
If they did end up meeting Phyrexians from other planes, there probably wouldn't be a lot of harmony between them. The Phyrexians on Mirrodin already don't like each other all that much, I don't think the other planes' would be very happy if they suddenly had to start taking orders from their new "superiors."
I agree with your sentiment but I actually think there is a chance they may be united due to Karn. Since he is a walker and is taking the role of the Father of the Machines he may at least be putting some effort into uniting the other Phyrexians under his rule. (At the very least all of the Praetors would be pushing for this as a chance to expand their influence.) I assume if it isn't happening already it will happen in between sets after New Phyrexia (assuming that is the last set, of course).
Wait, where did they come from? The praetors rolled in through a portal from another plane they were already corrupting?
Actually we do at least know that Phyrexia has already corrupted other planes from Elspeth's backstory they just want Mirrodin as their headquarters. Still they're most likely talking about coming from the core as others have said.
Melira does not look sylvok to me. Honestly she doesn't look like shes from Mirridon at all. She has no metallic features like literally ALL of the humanoid races have, including the Sylvok, shes wearing earthen clothing unlike anything else on the plane.
Planeswalker is honestly a reasonable guess because where the hell else is she from, unless they make up some story about her being the "chosen one" because shes immune to metal and a red head or some crap, but that's basically ajani storyline so i hope that's not the case.
On the actual Mirrodin Site they talk about how she was born on Mirrodin and made an outcast for having no metal. Now she's a symbol and at least a figurehead, if not an actual leader, of the fight against Phyrexia.
P1P1 I'd take Vatmother as she still has the potential to be a power house in non infect decks while flesh-eater is only really going to be great in an infect deck. Still their power level is very close so I can easily see either one being fine.
It does the same except that:
1)It's a socery
2)It can be throwed back.
Yes but my point was it takes the same slot as bolt and is of a similar power level to bolt thus if they replaced bolt with it the metagame wouldn't feel significantly different which would be the point of removing bolt in the first place.
Only way I see Mitotic Manipulation seeing play is possibly as a Jace removal spell in the sideboard with other random benefits and even then I don't think its likely.
Do you think the Praetor's will be allied depending on their part in the colour pie?
For an example, Sheoldred (black Praetor) being allied with the red and the blue one, while oppossing the white and the green Praetors?
It's an interesting twist.
They won't be strictly allied per say, as they all will be competing for top spot. But they will form alliances of convenience and they will be with their allied colors as they will share some aims. I think the best way to think of them woul be like the Forsaken from the Wheel of Time series. Everyone is in it for themselves and will back stab each other at the first opportunity unless they are being tightly controlled by a higher power at the time. Any real co-operation will be forced out of them by the Father of the Machines.
Is there a chance to get Chain Lightning reprinted? it's not as good as lightning bolt, but still is good enough.
If their removing bolt then they will most likely not replace it with a card that does essentially the same thing for the same mana. Their removing bolt to shake up standard so I guess they won't replace it with anything very strong so we notice its absence. They'll probably give red a very good non burn spell to make up for it and give red a different role in the metagame.

Ahh I missed that can you tell me where they said that.
