which was a mistake, imo, that got him killed. I'm enjoying the story, this game, whatever. However, I do hope that wotc thought it out a bit. Really? who on what plane sends their iniates out after a WEEK to kill baddies? I can think of no order or profession which trains those in their employ to be competant in a weeks time.
seem's like some sword which make everlasting bleeding wounds. I wonder how they will translate it in terms of mechanics. (a sort of cursing sword would be cool).
Maybe something like the Obsidian Fireheart mechanic?
While true, my question still stands. It can't be a werewolf, so what else goes bump in the night? Obviously we don't have the answer yet, but it does point to the fact that not only werewolves have the day/night mechanic.
I guess I'm just shocked no one is running into Memoricides... not that manlands couldn't get you there in the end... but not without an uphill battle for sure.
I did. That's where the loss came from. Someone Explained to my opponent during sideboarding how the combo worked (it was round 4 by then), so he hit me with a turn 4 memoricide, after I had hunted and decided to drop a quicksand for hit highborn instead of hunting. I still had 2 nexus and a warzone up, but he burned them both out quickly. It was actually my fault for losing that one, as I didn't sideboard against him at all.
Manlands are nice, but slow
Tarpits give you a turn 11 kill and 2 inkmoths would give you a turn 7 kill assuming nothing else happening.
This is what I'm running. Been playing it for a while now. Surprising, there is a decent decision tree you need to be aware of, as you have your utility lands there for a reason.
Took it to FNM and went 3-1. Had hunts ranging from 4 to 27.
Good Matchups are dumb aggro decks, usually anything mono-colored like RDW,Gobs,WW,Elves, and non-interactive combo decks, like Valakut. If you can combo off before them, you win.
Bad Matchups are anything that has hand disruption, countermagic, main deck sweepers, enchantment removal. So as you can see.....ALOT heh
One thing to note: Some people will laugh and scoff at Magosi. Trust me...It works...
~steps into the doorway and glances around, taking stock of the items contained inside. A slight feeling of anxiousness and relief washes over him, as he contemplates the doctor standing before him.
"Thank you" ~ says, nodding toward the man as he steps through.
"Oh, you know... Been there, did that... Gonna have a child... Nothing new..."
But maybe it's just me, seeing things, where there shouldn't be any. Whatever.
Congrats
EDIT: I think I'll go with the "Lost Soul of [Planar Chaos]" as my clan title, seeing that I've become a rare visitor in here. What do you think?
Haha Nez, it's a HUUUUUUUUUGE deal. It's our first. She is only about 5-6 weeks along so I'm still in the let's make sure everything is okay first stage. I've just been swamped.
And thanks everyone else. I hope to be returning more often soon. I have an HTC hero with internet, so I might pop in during work hours again.
~follows the directions carefully and finally arrives at his destination. Dismounting his horse, he knocks on the door, a seemingly polite, yet confident knock.
I'd like to continue, but my posting frequency has been severely reduced since they blocked me at work. So now I can't access it as much.
So I suppose I will bow out for now and let Caex in, but hopefully be allowed to keep Dinek around, as I really like him and want to play him. I just can't post as much as before.
"Most likely" ~ replies trotting his horse into the town, "I honestly have no clue. Do you have a physician or mystic in this town? Perhaps they can help me with answers"

Spirit possibly. She wouldn't change at night.
