I'm sorry if someone else has said this, but enemy fetchlands are better than allied fetchlands when it comes to dual lands. An allied fetchland can only three dual lands, while an enemy fetchland can fetch four dual lands.
Anyway, it was going to happen.
While we haven't seen all of the cards in ZEN by a significant amount, I am starting to see a trend. I feel like White is becoming more control-oriented, while black is becoming more aggro-oriented, as shown by the vampires. Of course, this approach could all change as we see more cards in the spoiler, but I feel like we may be seeing a trend for Zendikar.
Shall we place bets on how much this card is gonna cost? I'd advise not to, as this card will inevitably empty our wallets.
Anyway, I'm guessing that it will be at least $40 on the secondary market as long as goblins are semi-viable. Lackey is $10 and it's an uncommon.
Once again, money is a constraint for me, however I get most of my good cards for free from my friend. He has almost all cards from revised to Kamigawa.
I'm pretty sure he has a few Nivenyrral's Disks, so I could probably get one of those.
Any other cards that you suggest I pick up?
I'm thinking about a white-aligned villain with the desire to purge the Multiverse of planeswalkers. His motivation would be to remove planeswalkers for the protection of the lesser creatures of the Multiverse. His desire would drive him to become McCarthy-esque and begin persecuting suspected planeswalkers without due process. Because he is a normal human, rather than using magical powers, he uses his charisma to win the hearts of the commonfolk. He uses the power of mob mentality to go through with this genocide.
I believe this character would portray all the negatives of white -- jingoism, fascism, and racism -- while maintaining white's ultimate goal of community-promotion.
I understand that he is not a planeswalker and would not necessarily span multiple sets, but he could always become a god!

Could I have some feed back on this casual deck? Take into consideration the limitations on the number of cards I have. Just tell me what cards I should get rid of and what types of cards I should add.
I have been playing MtG on-and-off since fifth edition. Since the summer of 2008, I have renewed my interest in Magic. I am a very casual player and I only get a few packs a year, however I have a few tournament staples such as a Tarmogoyf, a Birds of Paradise, a Stasis, a Channel, a Tropical Island, and a Demonic Tutor. I tend to be very lucky when it comes to finding cards in packs. My first of two Future Sight booster packs included my beloved Tarmogoyf. Anyway, I tend to play blue-black control, though I make new decks frequently. I think that's all I care to share! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
I love blue-green spells, so I'm just going to think of one that they would never do, but fits the color well.
Temporal Explosion!
:symu::symu::symg::symg:
If a permanent would be put into a graveyard from play, instead put it on top of its owner's library.
Remove Temporal Explosion! from the game: Until end of turn, if a card would be put into a graveyard from any zone, put it on top of its owner's library instead.
Of course it fits Time Spiral more than Alara and I haven't balanced it at all, but it is one of my dreams.
I didn't have time to read through all the posts, so forgive me if this was already said.

Remove a card in your graveyard from the game, :symtap:: Add or to your mana pool.
I kinda like this -- It usually doesn't help you in the beginning of the game because you won't have cards in your graveyard. If people are mana-screwed and have to discard down to seven, they can make use of those cards in their graveyard, thus providing good, old-fashion mana fixin'!
If I remember anything about characters having unknown fates, it's that they always come back.
As such, in my dreams I see Tezzeret going to Phyrexia.
Also, regarding the discussion as to whether or not Tezzeret is a villain, I believe that Tezzeret is a Magneto-style villain. By that I mean that he can be a villain, an anti-villain (I think I just made up that term -- think Ozymandias), and an anti-hero all at the same time!
Anyway, it was going to happen.
Or I could be wrong.
