Currently the board is a transformational into Griselbrand Oath. With a couple of flex slots, I'm not sure though. By the way, interesting synergy, Angel brings back Hermit Druid to be pitched to Cabal Therapy if you need to. Though that's a little late for it. You could manage a second Dread Return though. Mostly winmore stuff, but interesting to note.
I think this list is pretty much on target. only things I might consider changing would be possibly squeezing in some Elvish spirit guides and mental missteps. especially the missteps, since it counters opposing Recalls, tutors, cabal therapies, mental missteps, and most removal (ie Bolt and STP)
since blue and green seem to be the most popular colors to go with door to nothingness, I wanted to go red since it was the only other color I liked for interactions with it.
Basically the deck wants to Cantrip/Loot, use welder for more advantage, make a lot of mana with the help of flare or gauntlet, then cast/Weld the door into play, then use composite golem and or Kaleidastone/crystal quary to pay for door to nothingness.
The 8 cantrip artifacts, plus faithless looting and reforge the soul help you to see large chunks of your deck each game helping to insure you have what you need without needing tutors. They also play nice with welder (ichor welspring makes absurd advantage). so does composite golem (turning any artifact into wubrg.) and making reforge the soul and faithless looting that much beter because you can bring artifacts bake from the grave. despite the fact that landing a welder makes the deck function much smoother, its still fairly easy to win without it just casting a mana doubler and haveing 5 mountains and 2/12 filters.
The wish Board allows a large number of tricks to be played.there are a number of spells to hold off creatures. My favorite part is using Metallic mastery or mark of mutiny to allow you to use welder or door to nothingness a turn earlier or twice in a turn. also you have a noncreature version of welder, 2 wheel effects, ways to remove troublesome lands and artifacts and last chance to enable you to cast door then get an untap step since you are just going to make the opponent lose the next turn.
aether vial + clone effect (likely phantasmal image)
Venser Shaper savant stops a cheated one.
Ensnaring bridge or staff of domination are probably the most reliable since it stops it indefinitetly and aren't vulnerable to O-stone or All is dust.
The only card I'm a fan of nuking lands with is Soulscour. It resets the board but leaves people with a few mana rocks and possibly a creature or two but in an artifact based deck (I run it in Jor kadeen) It functions as a win condition instead of "lets cast Armageddon then who ever has the biggest dude out wins. or we can just durdle waiting for people to draw lands"
I like the Isochron scepter idea. I just need to pickup a set of those. I also thought of maybe doing an astral slide deck doing tircks with fiend hunter and crap like that
how many people run Plaxmanta for one of their GU slots? I've been playing him and he's never bad. at worst he's a 2/2 flash for GU. that's really never bad. it gets better when you time it well and can completely blow people out giving your entire team shroud.
cloudpost. simply awesome. so awesome they banned it in modern. still good for legacy and pauper and if you want to e creative you can probably use it in EDH (make it a creature then rite of replication?)
So I've been working on some deck to play multiplayer with other than EDH.
I ended up going through and making 10 2 color decks out of the common/uncommons I had lying around. except I couldn't find a good deck idea for RW aside from humans.dec
I looking for some multiplayer ideas for RW decks, preferably avoiding rares, but I 'm not entirely opposed to using junk rares.
for context, here's the decks it needs to compete with:
you could try maralen of the mornsong or parrallel thoughts
Both have pretty steep risks and are off color. maralen lets you opponent just search for an answer, and parrallel thoughts losses the cards if it gets blown up, but they are both permanents for warp world and they both tutor
I don't wuite understnad the benefit to running Fires in place of FKZ. They both functionally do the same thing in giving haste to your army, but FKZ give +1/+1 and can be returned without sun titan to win. I feel like I'm missing something. Is there some other trick besides giving +2/+2 to a single creature to something (since assuming you have at least 1 other creature, zealot does better than +2/+2)
Also, I would definitely say that leyline of sanctity is more prevalent in vintage than moat or propaganda effect since leyline "stops" discard, storm, oath

Most of the games are 4 player games, many times with planechase.
