Haven't gotten to play around with Lucian as much as I would like, but here are my impressions of him.

He feels very smooth overall, his autos are crisp and his skills flow together well.

His laning is hard, but can easily be overcome with skill. Lucian favors all-ins during laning phase, as he tends to go oom quickly if the opponent can sustain your poke. His ult takes skill to land properly and with the right timing, and the damage seems lackluster, though the range is nice. Being able to use it while chasing/fleeing can be great. I tend to use his ult only in situations where I would otherwise be out of range.

He feels really fun, and his damage isn't bad. His mana is harsh, yet manageable. And he's easily one of the most slippery champs in the league. His potential to clean up after a fight is incredible, and his dueling potential is quite high.

I think he's quite balanced for a new champ, almost surprisingly so, and I think he's worth picking up for the fun factor alone.

Just had a pretty amusing normal game as Twitch. I was duo with a Blitzcrank, and we were against a Ryze Soraka lane(normals are fun). We start out the game messing around, and I got an early double kill without having to burn any summoners, so I spend the rest of the game messing around. I let the enemy Soraka live 4 times when I could have killed her(I showed her mercy as she was simply trying to give me mana).

There was a moment where I was on their inhib and they sent back Riven and Vi to stop me(the strongest people on their team). I just right clicked one of them and pressed r, went full "no hands" mode and got a doublekill(no other abilities, no barrier, no botrk active, just autos).

At the end of the game I finally stopped splitpushing and messing around and joined a teamfight. I literally just walked in and got the most casual pentakill of my life, the surrender vote came up immediately after. That match was so much fun, me and Blitz were laughing our asses off the entire time on skype(he's a god with those hooks, I swear).

Have you seen a white person jump before?

Human beings are remarkable creatures, everyday there are people out there who test the limits of their bodies, and everyday there are people who defy the laws of nature and overcome their genetic limitations. Sometimes, I feel like my eyes are playing tricks on me. I just don't know what to believe any more.

It doesn't matter what i've seen, it doesn't matter what i've done. A white person jumping is a logic-defying miracle, and I refuse to believe in it.

(Think about those times that people jumped up to try to touch your hand to get a high-five.)

I don't offer high fives to white people.

Hmm, no comment on the new avatar, guess I'll try better for the next one in a few hours :p.

Meh, the Psyduck one was way cuter.

I need two things right now... to get my ISP t actually fix my connection, and a better end PC (mid range at least, something where i dont have to have everything set up to min or none and still have a good fps, honestly i have all settings as low as possible and still can only get 40fps at best.... and if teamfights happen i go even lower).

Then i will have no more excuses for actually getting my mechanics down other than me sucking....

I'm right there with you, playing on an old iMac isn't the greatest experience. Though my mechanics aren't actually that bad, despite having really terrible fps. That's not to say that upgrading to a decent rig won't help my mechanics, but it certainly can't hurt. It sucks sometimes to have a massive fps drop right when you go to engage a fight, i've lost many a fight due to input delay.

So... who's excited for "Guitar Hero" Heca?

I would be, if i've ever actually had a good game on Hecarim. I swear I have some sort of mental block when it comes to that champ.

Umm which one is the more consistent Varus build?

BT - PD, or Botkr + IE.

Botrk + IE has been my go to build for a while now on Varus, though you can forgo the IE and go straight for PD/Shiv into LW if you're finding yourself low on cash.

Anyone else try out Doublelifts Vayne build of Botrk + Zephyr into LW? I've been loving it. Vayne's scaling with attack speed is just stupid good.

I've seen evidence that the inverse of the statement is true.

My nephew claims he saw a dragon, doesn't mean I believe him(though i'd love to).

Wow so after going from that amazing game I get into a queue, that thankfully didn't go through, because multiple people where fighting over...support.

Really, now I've seen it all 2 guys fighting over support, note I actually just let them decide and took myself out of the running for it, but really 2 people fighting over support culminating into one of them just leaving the queue. Was so stupid and yet comical to watch.

Lol, that's great. I've seen something like that happen before, in ranked queue. I went into the lobby and was last pick, my only thought was "dangit, guess i'm playing support" and then I **** you not, all four of my teammates kindly ask for support.

Luckily none of them fought over it, and just let first pick play supp, but it was a weird moment to be sure.

Yea, depending on a lot of factors including which ADC you're playing, the usual teamfight mindset is to be a complete ***** and just deal what damage you can. You could often be a half decent ADC in teamfights just by positioning and letting AA hit whoever it automatically targets.

My biggest solution to this problem is simply to play Twitch. Go ham in lane, then roam and go ham in other people's lanes. Then late game I can stealth through the jungle and catch people out to avoid teamfights, or just splitpush.

I disagree. Play Soraka with an adc who turns out to be terrible. Had one game a few weeks ago where I managed to completely zone the opposing adc+support out of the lane by myself yet my adc was so bad that despite him getting to farm without any interference and the enemy adc only getting to farm under their turret he still got out-cs'd by miles (he left lane with like 40 cs against ~100). THAT is the most frustrating situation possible imo.

Yeah, anytime you have to lane directly with someone worse than you, it's pretty frustrating. But you're taking my statement out of context, I only meant that in relation to trying to improve as an AD. Bad supports are the stuff of nightmares to an aspiring AD.

I decided on Hanasaku Iroha, exactly what the doctor ordered.

Cosplaying is always something that I thought was interesting, but would never actually do.

I really need to get better at laning on ADCs. It seems weird that I'm much better at laning on supports and solo lanes.

I feel like I'm pretty good at teamfighting and farming on adcs just not good at laning them anymore.

I'm actually kinda the opposite, i'm good at laning with ad's, but my teamfighting kinda sucks. I think a lot of it is because I just go waaay too ham on people, which isn't good during teamfights.

As far as getting better at laning with ad's, a lot of it is just learning how to properly balance farming and harassing so that you outtrade your opponent while not missing cs. This can be really hard at times, especially depending on the matchup, but once you get good at it, it's super rewarding.

Also, most of the opportunities to harass are created by the supports, so having at least a decent support is important. There's nothing more frustrating than a bad support. I had a game the other day as Vayne against Cait where my support Lulu would simply stand behind me in lane. Seriously, it's Cait/Janna, you're not going to die if you stand in the brush, at least ward it so I can get near the minions without getting chunked.

PSA to all support players, if you have no presence in lane, don't expect to win it.

Also, does anyone else get upset in champ select when people harass others into changing their picks? I had a game earlier where our Mid lane was *****ing about us needing to be tankier(Team at the time was Kha top, Leblanc mid, Xin jungle, Vayne/Sona bot). I told our mid we were fine, and the team comp was solid, they kept complaining and at the last minute my support Sona switched to Leona, despite saying earlier that they were most comfortable on Sona.

    That's exactly what I just made :o.

I made it a bit spicy but it was good :).

Mine was a little bland, but that's because I was purposely trying not to make it spicy(One of the downfalls of having to cook for others). Would have been real good as a filling for stuffed bell peppers though, maybe i'll make them next time.

Too lazy to jump, i'll try the hidden door.

Think of it like a clan thread, since that's what it basically is. Except without all the clan guidelines.

    And there's a Teia.

Implying there isn't a Teia in certain clan threads? Coulda sworn I saw one not too long ago...

Probably not as good as others because I don't really like going by a recipe. I tend to go on the fly with stuff...I don't think I've made anything inedible yet, lol.

I don't think i've ever made anything inedible either, and I don't ever remember following a recipe(I tend to only make simple dishes though).

I follow recipes when baking though.

Speaking of cooking, I made Spanish Rice for the first time today. Had no idea what I was doing, but it was really good. Coulda used some more peppers though.

Read this and immediately knew it was the umbrella scene XD

That scene left quite the impact. Show was great overall.

None of the other deaths even compared to that one though, i'm not quite sure why. I guess it's because it was the first death and was relatively unexpected, plus it was a total accident.

Also, was I the only one who went through the entire show not knowing that Ms.Mikami and Reiko were the same person? I felt like such an idiot. I caught all the scenes where the hinted at Reiko being dead, but never thought to suspect her as I thought she had no connections to the class anymore. I just kept thinking to myself "why do they keep talking as if she's dead?"
Anyways, i'm now looking to pick up something else to watch, I'm thinking something a little more lighthearted and uplifting would be good for the soul right now.
