Was testing with a friend and he busted a Jace of his own, grabbed my Elesh Norn, and locked me out of the game. I'm not fond of equipping my opponent's with the tools to beat me, and I've been sorely missing Mutavault, so I did a slight tweak.
This seems a bit faster and more consistent. It might seem like it weakens Jace, Architect of Thought, but I'm actually liking the lines it opens up a lot better.
As for the question of Walk the Aeons vs Gigadrowse/Exhaustion/Cryptic Command, I find that the synergy between Aeons and Narset is incredibly strong. Still, an argument can be made for cutting back to one and filling that slot with one of those three cards (or a second Clique).
How has chalice of the void been out of the sb? Im really interested in testing that.
First off. Wow guys great construtive advice! Thanks. With that in mind these are the changes i made. Personally i think the 1st trespass is better than the 4th walk the aeons. The altered blue moon walk list ill test tonight. Focused more on closing the game. I honestly forgot about recall. Its just better for sure. I feel like master of waves is the best way to clock an opponent. Also gonna test sudden shock to shore up infect hopefully.
I could definitely see cutting keranos as a possibility, but between him and thassa the games end super fast which is nice. Temporal trespass imo has been fantastic. It lets you exile all those lands you discarded before you reshuffle,which just makes your draws stronger. You're dead on , on twin. The game 1 feels 50/50 but after that im heavily favored. The real problem child has been infect. Essentially i have 2 board plans. The non blood moon combo plan, and the you're week to blood moon aggro plan. The reason i splashed red was for the free random blood moon wins.
This is my first ever pauper edh. Ghostly flicker seems great!. Break asunder cycles so if its dead i can at least draw a card. I like the idea of green ramp over signets. Bloodline invoker has been my fireball effect. Its nice bc if i transmute for the krosan restorer freed from the reel combo i can usually recur the transmute card and transmute it for the kill. I think 2 path to exile is a necessary evil in this deck. I would probably not run more than 2 tho. Exile is nice vs all the creature based combos bc of the exile.

Ive been testing a list without the walkers and mystical teachings and a white suns zenith instead. Ive also tested magma spray in the sb and im lovin it. Geist of st traft for mirror matches, tron, and splinter twin has been solid. The teachings has been really solid. Thoughts on the list?
I'm gonna play UWR Control @ GP KC this weekend and have some few questions :
- What is the expected metagame ?
- What is the most established list for UWR ?
- What about the SB ? And SB Tables ?

I think Ghost quarter > Tectonic Edge for Tron (you want to be able to break the Tron before he has 4 lands) and it can help you fix your mana to avoid a color death.

I just take it from Tukeman and I really like it. The only card I'm missing is Shadow of Doubt since I play against too many Scapeshift.
My question is, what's the best kill combination for this deck ?
- 2 Ajani => Like Tukeman
- 1 Gideon + 1 Ajani => Why not
- 2 Ral Zarek => Love that card, but too weak I guess
- 1 Gideon + 1 Assemble the Legions => I think Assemble the Legions is really good but maybe too slow ? The thing is, it is very hard in Modern to manage with an enchantment.
- 2 Assemble the legions => see above.
Concerning the sideboard, I like :
- 2 Batterskull
- 2 Timely Reinforcement
- 1 Tempest of Light
- 2 Counterflux (may be 3 with Scapeshift)
- 2 Aven Mindcensor

Ghost Quarter vs tec edge
Tec edge is better than ghost quarter bc if you have ever played against blue tron of u/w tron exchanging a tron peice for an island isnt very good for us especially when it sets us back a land. Thats my .02 at least

I think its basically between 2 ajani or 1/1 ajani/gideon. Personally i feel 2x ajani is better bc its cheaper and can be used to kill other ajani's (for now). My only loss last fnm was to the mirror and my opponent played the 1/1 split. I also drew land light so who knows.
Sideboard
Well our sb plans are waayyy different i do have to say that i think 3 counterflux is too many. Also i was sb'ing aven mindcensor and it was reallu bad for me. I would for sure cut 1 counterflux and 2 aven mindcensor for 3 shadow of doubt. This card is insane imo. You still have your search hate and scapeshift hate but nowbyou can snap it and it cantrips. Of course i think there are other cards you should havr in your sb but i dont know what meta yiu are expecting.
