Feb 6, 2011GwafaHazid posted a message on Savra, Queen of the GolgariMind making another little list towards the bottom of your decklist stating the number of sacc outlets? The Altars and Attrition are the obvious ones, but the outlets are all over the place(Perilous Forays in the ramp, Skullclamp in the card-draw, etc.). I've found that it really helps to know the number of sacc outlets in a deck that turns creatures into resources(I've built/helped build Teysa, Marrow-Gnawer, Sek'kuar, Bloodbond Rats, Ulasht, and Shirei). This deck looks like a ton of fun, and right up my alley, so knowing the sacc outlets would really help me with some brainstorming Savra.Posted in: Waiting in the Weeds Blog

The best strategy I can see for Sedris is Looter effects, self mill, ETB and LTB effects, and sacrificing stuff with Phyrexian Altar or Goblin Bombardment for that extra oomph.
The x-Maros from Kamigawa, Kiyomaro, Soramaro, Kagemaro, Adamaro, and Masumaro.
The Creature-to-enchantment flip cards from Kamigawa, like Erayo and Sasaya.
More from Kamigawa were the Kirins, the Legend Dragons like Keiga or Kokusho, the Myojins, and the Patrons.
If I can think of any more, I'll tell you.
Edit: Well, my post has been obsoleted.
AFAIK, the sets for Scars, MBS, and the new set coming up are codenamed "Lights, Camera, Action", one word for each set. If the name is Shake, then we'll see it in the first set of the next block, codenamed "Shake, Rattle, and Roll", if I"m not mistaken. So, unless new Phyrexia and the Praetors are in the new block, it's not going to be one of them.
The problem that I'd see from outright elimination of sapience(curse you, godslefthand!!!) is that it would preclude any additional improvements to be made. Humans, Vedalken, Goblins, and other soft squishy races found space to evolve in worlds populated by gigantic beasts, monstrous dragons, and other such threats to these races. The Phyrexians would need an outside impetus to push them to become faster and stronger, or at least a group outside their ecosystem that pushes their environment to reward outright monstrousity, and potentially even stimulate the creation of symbiotic beings that care for these war-Phyrexians. I guess maybe I'm just too blue-focused to think that Vorinclex would outright dismiss sapience.
As to the eliminating sentience... Vorinclex certainly has some evidence of higher functions, no? Maybe he's seeing a symbiotic world of Phyrexia where there is an elite caste/race of thinkers who preside over the unnatural evolution that the worker-Phyrexians undergo?
Urabrask, and red Phyrexia, seem the most underdeveloped/explored. IMO, it's because they're the least Phyrexian color out there. And even their little blurb regarding red's phyresis seems a lot more White or Blue, with it's focus on a perfect world for all of Phyrexia.
Finally... It can't just be me who saw Kel'thuzad in Elesh Norn's silhouette? Right??
Edit: Holy crap, cannot believe I forgot about Tresserhorn! Changing my vote to him.
