Played the lottery with 14 boxes today to get singles for our customers on friday. The variance in this set, at least with those boxes in terms of mythics, was INSANE. 10 master of the wild hunt and 2 prossh stick out the most.
I also took another picture of the three foil mythics these boxes packed, as a little bonus. This might be a very good occasion to show some of you why I might come across as negative or pessimistic sometimes, or why hate I garbage mythics in such products with such a passion... because it's ME who opens this **** all the god damn time!

Were Armageddon and Imperial Recruiters in the same boxes? Because you have 8 of each and we also played FNM with one box yesterday and got them.
Also does it mean there were more than 4 mythics per box, excluding folis?

Should be no less than 24, which makes this rather unimpressive. Lot's of feel bad boxes, still not a fan of this set.

Did you notice any tracking in the boxes? Were you getting the same rares over and over and in the same order? With 10 MotWH, 9 Clique and 8 Armageddon, it almost appears as if you may have. Or it could just be "variance" I suppose.
Yes, those recruiters have to mitigate quite some damage.
Well, we paid close attention to the first few boxes, but they seemed alright so we didn't observe as closely for the others. And yet, if you want my opinion on this, there is/was an issue with at least one print track here. I'm no expert, but there seemed to be a group of rares, among them coalition relic, izzet chemister and courser of kruphix, which felt far rarer than a pattern of rares around hells caretaker, which I felt that it was the most common rare in the set. Also, if I remember correctly, the (assumed) rarer track with coalition relic and the others had either bridge, chalice or prosh as mythics between them, which would explain their scarcity in this run.
That said, 24 boxes isn't a huge volume to judge things, but incredible variance is already obvious just from the mythics I photographed. Ixalan and Rivals of Ixalan also had quite the obvious tracks of printing. It's hard to describe and might not be a 100% accurate, but if you ever opened a rivals box with either kumena, the phoenix or immortal sun in it, chances are unusually high to get all of them in the same box.

Expected a magic card, got something right out of a boardgame instead.
I don't really know what makes this a mythic, it can't exactly be due to power reasons. It's a minimal boost, followed by delayed boardclear that might net you a built-in creature advantage of 1. Clearing opponents grave is just irrelevant after three turns, lets face it. Sure, it's a complex card, but I guess we'll also get sagas at lower rarities.
I'm also pretty surprised by that wording, is this a new thing that they type such abrupt explanations? 'Add a lore counter' shouldn't it be 'Add a lore counter on it or CARDNAME'? Sacrifice After III. III what, effect, trigger, counter? I get how the card works, but this seems pretty drastic compared to previous wordings. In all fairness, though, this layout is clean, unique and readable, so they got that part right.
That is one amazing-looking card. Please hold your questions, and hold tight in general—we'll be back on March 21 with the Dominaria hype train in full gear.

Absolutely in love with the new Karn, even though people around me can only bring up a 'meh' towards him. Dude costs 4, generates card advantage, protects itself and is COLORLESS. Ancient stirrings? sure. All is dust? Still fighting for you out there. And there are many many more benefits of being colorless.
If nothing else this Karn is an absolute superstar in my goodstuff cube and I'll play the heck out of him.
yeah the mox is absolutely incredible for some edh decks. a commander doesn't need to cost 1 for it to be good, 2 or 3 cost is fine as well. A quite substantial part of me wishes that this mox will finally lead to baral eating his well-deserved banhammer, it's such a cancerous deck.
This set looks insaaane for edh just from what we got here, which means I like it a lot already! And could it be, it really IS a UR artifact commander? Costing 4 mana is okay I guess, I'm just happy this finally exists.

No Mark that's total bull***** on many levels, if i get some bad and iconic commons in my limited deck I have absolutely no problem with it, I even expect them to be there and people love Storm Crow! But many players dislike when you put bad cards for whatever reason at rare in your 10 dollar packs.
Maro just doesn't get teh memes. Apparently, totally lost is hilarious, but lulzing around with storm crow in limited isn't - makes sense.
