    Lets say I have:
    Wall of Glare,
    wall of wood,
    Fog Bank,
    and a Fortified Area

My opponent attacks with 50 1/1 tokens. What are my options?

Can I declare a band of my 3 walls, but have the wall of glare block all of the tokens? Then, re-directing all the damage to my Fog Bank?

......The last two, Tibalt and Tamiyo feel really out of place. PWs should be a part of the block's story. It would be more cool to let say, Thalia ascend than to print Tibalt.

If the insist on creating new characters at least tie them to the plane's storyline.

they're actually supposed to feel out of place, like they're not from there. that was one of wizards goals in creating them.

Play Opalescence Followed by Conspiracy Naming Golem, then Drop Precursor Golem andDoubling Season
    Then castRite of Replication.

Firstly The first batch resolve, D.S. Copy Resolves first giving me 11 D.S Tokens, This applies a 2x10^11 Multiplier on everything
    SO
You get 10,240 Persursor golems as well as 10,240 Conspiracy tokens (Since they are animated too)
Things get interesting when you consider the tokens as you get ETB tokens multiplied too
    From ROR (2x5x10^11)+ (10,240x2x5x2^11) From 10,240 Persercor golems= 41,963,520.

Then Cast a Second Rite of replication
'm wrong the answer is higher than this>

The Golem get's targeted on releases 10,241 triggers for coping.
Aiming one at the 1st D.S. result in the 5x2^11 tokens From here on in I'll use exponentials to get a figure as I doubt there exists a computer powerful enough to do a precise job.
The Next copy gets 2^(5x2^11) and so on for (11x10240) turns
that 2^((5^112640)x2^(11x11264)) At this point the differences between the numbers of tokens would be petty (Although the persers golems square the result above)
Do I win the award for most OTT combo with percersor golem?..I believe I have more tokens then there are atoms in the known universe.

I challenge you for a non-infinite combo that generates more tokens(Using the same number of cards)

Possibly change doubling season for [card] Enchanted Evening
    [/card]

Cause you may as well get copies of all your lands and every permanent in the game....

Say I have Reya Dawnbringer, Martyr of Sands , and some plains out.

At my opponent EOT, I am tapped out.

Is there any way I can use the timing of the reanimation trigger to sac my Martyr, gain life (assume some cards in hand) and end up with Reya bringing back Martyr?

I hope they shove them full of 50 dollar mythics and 10 dollar rares in sets or at least multiples of and that the builds are optimized by thier pet (winning) pro players. I hope they sell them at Walmart. I hope these are regular magic cards, black bordered and legal backed. I hope they print them en-masse and that they sell them for around 20 bucks.

    I'm with you.

there's really only 1 reason to open packs of worldwake, and (i think?) that wizards is no longer printing wwk, so why not put a jace tms into some kinda 'starter deck' type deal? it would be like printing pure money for wizards and it drops the price of a chase mythic like a rock.

they do market research, they know intro decks (as they are today) aren't really hot sellers, so this could replace those as a sort of retroactive "fix' for money cards after a set is out of print?

    or something like that

really no chance of finding those in bulk given their high price & rarity. that would be somewhat like buying foil jace TMS in bulk. I'd recommend bidding on them on ebay, or using "buy it now"

good luck, that's going to be pricey.

my vote is for using beta basics. the colors are very deep and rich, they're just beautiful and not too pricey.

everybody has unhinged and zen lands, but they look neat too. guru lands would break the bank, as last i checked they were like $30 apiece if not more.

  • posted a message on Where do the overpriced blisterpacks go?
    overstock stores.

there's a place in the midwest named "Cargo Largo" and they always seem to have random old booster boxes of old cards (TSP block, kamigawa, random) and it's pretty steeply discounted. like $40 a box. they aren't a card store, and simply have no idea what they have, just that its some game and then their markup.

    you win my internet.

but on topic, I own power and think standard is absurdly overpriced. I was pretty happy to see the Tez vs Elspeth duel decks, just as long as wizards prints "an absurd lot" of them.

    It depends on the card.

He can play it prior to you declaring them and attacking, or after the rules don't care as long as he has priority to play a spell.

However, if the creature is already tapped and attacking, he can't block with it unless the card specifies he gains control and can untap it.

    For blind with anger:
Untap target nonlegendary creature and gain control of it until end of turn. That creature gains haste until end of turn.

it untaps the creature, all good to block.

    For grab the reins
Choose one — Until end of turn, you gain control of target creature and it gains haste; or sacrifice a creature, then Grab the Reins deals damage equal to that creature's power to target creature or player.

no good, it does not say anywhere to untap the creature.

Wow, what a communist response. Please don't play a game you can't afford to play. Is poker elitist? Is a sport such as Golf Elitist?
Guess what? This game is a genre called CCG. If you want to afford a cheaper and still entertaining game,....................................This game started 18 years ago and is successful because it has a value in the IP. Proxies cheats the company and ALL future players out of the game.

Theft is theft and Copyright infringement is illegal.

speaking as someone who owns full sets of duals & power....I have no problem with proxies.
